THE ROOM(MATE)
WHO: Rukia Kuchiki, OPEN (especially to people in B-03)
WHAT: Rukia explores the city to learn how to navigate this new placeand to find the best trees to climb what no, as well as get a look at the house where she was assigned to live.
WHEN: Backdated to September 5th - Early Evening
WHERE: Aqures Ixren, then B-03
WARNINGS: None. Rukia is short.
[Moving Around the City]
Chappopo the Moogle was lucky. The hero she'd been assigned to was a couple of inches under five feet tall. As such, there was no need to worry about keeping up with a long-legged stride. Rukia's pace was brisk and confident, but her stride was short. She showed her curiosity without reservation, moving past the populace and pausing occasionally to examine a vendor's cart or a shop window. Doing so allowed her to catch a glimpse of her reflection. The ninja's hood and mask were slipped down long ago, and she was relieved to find that her appearance was largely unchanged. She still looked as she had when she was a Soul Reaper.
"I should like to know the places of importance," Rukia said, pulling herself away from a clothing shop. Wearing robes of black so openly amongst other humans was a little strange, but at least she wasn't alone. She saw at least one or two others wearing the same ninja garments as she did.
"Kupo? Should we visit the airship port?"
Rukia smiled. Airships... She could imagine what those would be like. She inclined her head. "I would like that, thank you."
Maybe they could get something to eat, as well. Surely they would have given her some of these 'gils' they'd mentioned, to see to her basic needs.
[Finding B-03]
It was dark by the time Rukia had got her fill of the city. There was still much more to see (particularly the Chocobo Stables, which were closed much to her disappointment), but she was tired and more than ready to rest. Following Chappopo's directions, Rukia approached the house to which she was assigned. It seemed like a comfortable place, at least from the outside. As to what the interior held, she couldn't guess. Rukia rapped politely on the front door with her knuckles.
"There will be others living here as well?"
"Three, I believe," Chappopo answered.
Rukia nodded slowly, thoughtful. Interesting. It would be good in any case to meet others who were better versed in the world and the duties of being a Hero of Light. She stood patiently on the front step, arms resting loosely at her sides.
"I'll leave you to it, then. Good night, Rukia-po!"
She smiled warmly. "Good night to you as well. Thank you for your guidance this day."
[OOC: Still new, feel free to let me know if I made a mistake, and I'll edit!]

Not all of them stayed close to their Heroes, as Rukia would soon find out. Chappopo, in the meantime, was only close enough to keep an eye on Rukia and find out where this conversation was going. At last, she would have her own gossip to tell the others, kupo!
She held her chin, thoughtful. "I see. I knew there were others that had arrived at different times. I wonder how many more we can expect to see." And why were so many needed? Were matters really so dire? "Do you know which Jobs were contained in your Crystal?"
no subject
"She's off doin' moogle things." She didn't really like his first impression and the only time they seemed to meet is when letters needed to be delivered.
"Archer and Red Mage." Moving onto the less serious subject. Not that she could tell the first one was really that serious. "What else do ya have, Miss Ninja?
no subject
But after her initial exclamation, her expression became perplexed once more. "But I'm not sure how to access it just yet, or what the job entails. I suppose spells to be involved."
no subject
"I'm pretty sure you use th' crystal ta change class. I haven't tried Red Mage myself. I'm comfortable with Archer."
no subject
Replacing the crystal, she folded her arms with a relaxed smile. "Were you skilled with the bow before coming here? There's been speculation that the jobs we begin with often match our previous skills and capabilities."
no subject
"I take it you were somethin' of a ninja back home?"
no subject
But she wasn't sure if any of those terms held much meaning for him. Now that she knew they all came from different worlds, she had to do far more explaining. Maybe she should buy more paper and some colored markers at the store.
"Well then, Mister Archer, shall we--?"
"Miss Rukia, it's getting dark. The shops will close soon." The notice came from the fluffy little Moogle, approaching with its arms politely tucked behind its back.
Rukia dropped her fist into her hand. "I'd almost forgotten! Thank you, Chappopo." Turning back to Raven, she tossed a casual wave of her hand. "Will you excuse me?" There was more she wanted to discuss, but she didn't want to sleep in her clothes yet again.
