It's finally here. The night that will either springboard new relationships, kill wallets, or maybe both at the same time. Even though Saori maybe still be a bit salty at Brigid for signing her up to her crazy idea, she had to give the Moogle some credit. The enthusiastic fuzz ball of a shipper on deck managed to get a good chunk of both Heroes and Moogles rather hyped about this date auction. Not to mention quite handful of them were all to happy to help with preparations.

[Well this wasn't what D expected when he was forced here. First, he glared at Lefty hating the Moogle gloating at a few others. The Moogle world never let him live this down. Possibly tease him about being a ladies' man. Whatever. D snorted at the thought.

So who exactly was this girl who won him? He remembered watching her spar with Rukia the day that they both met.

And... Was he the highest bidder for three? That was... Three dates...?! Unexpected.

And what of the silver haired guy? D couldn't help but think he rippled the water in that pond.

Still, D could take care of his own. He wasn't one to let anyone, even a superior officer, rattle his cage.]

[Yuffie drops from the ceiling, her nimble form catching hold of D's neck with speed that doesn't seem possible considering how immature she's currently acting. However, the ninja princess is very skilled, more so when it comes to stalking.

Her chest collided with his shoulder sending a shock wave through her that made her grimace.]

OW!

[She doesn't let that keep her down though. She looks over D's shoulder, holding herself up with her feet hanging over a foot away from the ground.]

Wow you are tall. D right?

[D wasn't exactly expecting such a greeting from the ninja though he felt her aura before she collided with him. Her chest smashed into his shoulders and he encircled his arms about her waist to keep her from falling.

From what he felt, the ninja was all muscle, and she'd have to be to keep clinging to him like this. He stares into his eyes, his own dark ones flash crimson briefly before returning to their darkness. There are no shadows cast along his pale skin and he holds a neutral mask.]

I am. You must be Yuffie.

How'd you guess.

[Her tone might be a little mocking but it wasn't so bad. She noticed the flash but for now she's going to play nice. She swings her legs hopefully indicating that he can move his arm from her waist. She wants down.]

Thought I'd say hi besides you have a very awesome date to plan and before you ask, yes, it can be at night time.

[Catching her hint, D let go of her waist so she could get down. He adjusted the collar of his shirt still not enjoying the ruffles, but not wanting to seem sloppy.]

It doesn't matter to me if it is night or day. What do you prefer?

[Yuffie swings her legs, her toes landing on the ground without a whisper of sound. She smiles up at him and then walks in a full circle around him.]

Please tell me you won’t wear this get up. You look really silly.

[In case he didn’t know that.]

[D rolled his eyes but chuckled very low and very quiet. Almost too hard to hear.]

Ruffles aren't my style either. It was my Moogle's. Much prefer my cloak and hat...

[It occurred to him that maybe asking her what she wanted in a date night help him.]

So... What exactly are you expecting from a date?

[Yuffie heard and at the sound of his chuckle the princess beamed.]

Good cuz ruffles are kinda girly and you should play up the tall, dark, handsome look you got going there. That means dark colors and slim fit clothing.

[This is something that she very much has an opinion about.]

As for a date, that’s up to you. Plan something really awesome but nice and I want it to involve a lot of food. I’m also only free after training so you’ll have to meet me at the training yard if you want it before dark.

[Which she doesn’t really mind. It isn’t as if Yuffie’s planning to dress up for said date, though she’ll take a shower .]

Very well, we'll meet at the training grounds around 20:00 four days from now, if that is alright with you?

[It would give D some time to research date ideas, maybe a picnic, training... No this is supposed to be a date, isn't it? Regardless, it also have him a chance to cook. He knew the basics of survival cooking... Maybe he could learn how to cook the food here. He wouldn't admit that he was nervous, but he would put something together. Dark and slim fit clothing... Well he did buy some clothing a few days before this so he could have something more to wear.]

[Yuffie gives him a mock salute.]

Eye eye, captain tight paints.

[Seriously, he looks ridiculous and Yuffie can't stop giggling about that get up internally.]

[Mentally he cringed but he kept his face expressionless. He didn't know what to think of her but he remembered how she sparred with Rukia. Behind that smile was a young woman who was perhaps ruthless to her enemies. A person he wanted to get to know. Still, tight pants?]

Yuffie... Why did you bid for me?

[She giggles.]

And here I thought it was obvious. [She winks at him giving him a moment to think about that.]

Honestly? You looked like you have good stories.

[His eyes flashed crimson at her words before darkening to the deep blue they normally were. Stories? ...]

Perhaps...

[Yuffie raises an eyebrow.]

Yes.

[She's adamant about that. With a quick flick of her ankle she turns herself and leaves D with his thoughts.]

[D definitely needed to prepare. This girl was dangerous and she looked determined to flay him alive until he gave her all his secrets. Something he had no intention on doing. His happiness, sorrow and pain were his own as was his mind. Regardless of how this date went and what he decided to do, he needed to keep his defenses up or she would freely take advantage of loose lips.]
