(no subject)
Characters: OPEN (Ramza and whoever wishes to join)
Where/When: Starting with the Mognet bulletin boards, then branching out around the city, Oct 18th-the end of the event?
Summary: Something is attacking moogles and making Heroes sick. In an effort to find out what is going on and prevent further damage, Ramza is trying to set up some patrols around the city.
Warnings: Injured Moogles, possibly people dying.
A. At the Mognet Bulletin Boards in your District
The skies around Aqures Ixen seemed unnaturally quiet as Heroes stopped sending their moogles out to deliver messages. Ramza did not know what manner of person or creature was attacking their white winged allies, but he did not wish to allow it to roam the streets freely. With communications down and some Heroes bedridden with various illnesses, it seemed the best way to proceed is to set up a patrol.
Ramza refused to endanger Simon by asking the moogle to deliver the message to the other Heroes. Instead, he wrote out the message on a sheet of parchment and attached it to the bulletin board in the middle of the district. Hopefully, the Heroes who were still well enough to aid in the patrol would see it.
[The message Ramza leaves has a brief explanation of the patrols, a few routes sketched out, and a series of days and times that a hero can sign up for. Most of the routes circle past houses, so that, if a Hero falls ill, help will not be too far away.]
B. On your Patrol Route
Darkness had fallen. The streets were quiet, with the lights from the Moogle's decorations casting a eerie glow. Not knowing what enemy they faced, Ramza tried to coordinate each patrol so that no hero went unaccompanied. There was strength in numbers...he hoped.
[Note: The heroes on patrol will not be able to locate whatever it is attacking the moogles. If any moogles are sent out.away from their heroes during patrols, they will most likely be injured, and if a moogle actively attempts to guide the heroes to the attacker, they will be wounded.]

B - Open to whomever wants to find Spencer
So he'd gone out earlier in the evening to run to a few of the herbal stores that might still be open, to see if he might find something that might offer some relief. Though as he flitted around at Moogle high-speeds, something hard had knocked Spencer out of the air.
He was a small pale puff-ball curled up in the middle of the street, the small pouch of gils spilled all around and a few items knocked out of a bag; a few small lemon-like fruits and a small jar of sweet honey. His small glasses had landed a further few feet away, one of the lenses cracked.
Spencer made a squeak of a pained noise as he clung desperately around the jagged crystal that was his Hero's - he wasn't letting go of that for the world, no matter how he shook.
B - Hibiscus will find him
She watched as Spencer went tumbling through the air. At first she stopped and looked around for the attacker but nothing was in sight. Hibiscus carefully made her way to the little moogle. "Are you alright, kupo?"
B - awwwwh
"Is it gone, kupo?"
B - awwwwh
"I believe so, kupo." Hibiscus's eyes scanned around them once before addressing Spencer. "Lets go. Get back to your hero, kupo."
They might be safe now but she didn't know how long that would last.
B - awwwwh
"Yes."
He vanished the crystal away and then rolled back into sitting, holding his damaged paw and hoping the pain would go away soon. Spencer couldn't get himself to stand up yet, the broken bone distracting him.
""Do you think it's broken, Kupo?"
B - awwwwh
"Here."
She slowly wrapped it, taking care whenever he flinched. Hibi tried to be prepared because her hero was so young she kept an assortment of things with her in case they were needed. His wound needed a healer or it would take weeks to heal and might not heal properly.
"We need to get you help, kupo."
B - awwwwh
He watched Hibi as she wrapped his paw with her cloth carefully and although he did flinch a little Spencer was a brave mog when it came down to it so no comment followed. Once done he rocked himself and flapped his small purple wings to get the leverage to get back on his feet.
"To the hospital for me then, Kupo. Thank you for your help."
Hibi had already helped more than she needed to, and it shouldn't be for any moogle to draw her attention away from helping her Hero, after all.
B - awwwwh
She lightly flapped her wings nervously as she looked towards Spencer.
"You might get attacked again. At least let me see you to your hero. Kupo." Hibiscus was firm. She didn't want him to say no.
B - awwwwh
At her insistence Spencer paused and turned his head in her direction again.
"I have to pick all these things up that I dropped, first, Kupo. If you have time, would you mind to help?"
B - awwwwh
"Why are you picking up all these things?" The items seemed odd to the fluffy moogle and it made her wonder if what happened to Yeul was happening to others as well.
B - awwwwh
"It's for my Hero. Sephiroth. He's-"
There was a light grunt of a pained noise from Spencer next but it was cut-short by a squeak of excitement. Hibi had managed to pick up his specs!
"Oh! Kupo! You found them!"
B - awwwwh
"Yes."
She took a minute to finish gathering things and then looked back up at her moogle friend.
"He's?" Hibi wanted to know but part of her didn't want to know. Is it happening to others too?
B - awwwwh
"He's-?" It was almost a question but Spencer could be forgiven for forgetting that train of thought; his paw was really starting to hurt.
"Oh Sephiroth. He's developed a cold, Kupo. It must be the quick change in the weather. Though-" Spencer paused for a moment to think, which took a lot of effort with the injury stealing his attention even more. He really wasn't sure if Sephiroth would want him to talk about him to another moogle.
"-do you have a Hero too?" Not all moogles did, after all.
B - awwwwh
She looked up at Spencer with a determined stare. "She's very young and has long blue hair. If you see her." At this point Hibi had little hope of finding her hero. It has almost been a week since Yeul vanished.
B - awwwwh
"But Heroes who died before, they were turned to crystal kupo. That means that your Hero can't really be dead, right?" He looked up, hopeful to Hibi - twitching his nose slightly as if it might help to perk his moogle friend up a little.
"I will keep an eye out for her. It's difficult to tell how many others are ill, when the Mognet is such a dangerous means to communicate." Spencer followed with a whine again and looked down at his damaged paw once more, before looking around to see which way would be the quickest to the hospital. He needed it to be looked at and standing around talking to Hibi in the street could be dangerous on it's own.
B - awwwwh
"I think something might be wrong but we should get you to the hospital, kupo." Hibiscus didn't want to stay here longer than needed and guiding her friend to safety would ease her mind. She alright felt like she lost to much.
B - awwwwh
"I think you're right, Kupo."
He was worried about how Hibiscus was coping since the disappearance of her Hero but one thing at a time. When his paw was feeling better he'd be able to help her try to find Yeul.
