(no subject)
Characters: OPEN (Ramza and whoever wishes to join)
Where/When: Starting with the Mognet bulletin boards, then branching out around the city, Oct 18th-the end of the event?
Summary: Something is attacking moogles and making Heroes sick. In an effort to find out what is going on and prevent further damage, Ramza is trying to set up some patrols around the city.
Warnings: Injured Moogles, possibly people dying.
A. At the Mognet Bulletin Boards in your District
The skies around Aqures Ixen seemed unnaturally quiet as Heroes stopped sending their moogles out to deliver messages. Ramza did not know what manner of person or creature was attacking their white winged allies, but he did not wish to allow it to roam the streets freely. With communications down and some Heroes bedridden with various illnesses, it seemed the best way to proceed is to set up a patrol.
Ramza refused to endanger Simon by asking the moogle to deliver the message to the other Heroes. Instead, he wrote out the message on a sheet of parchment and attached it to the bulletin board in the middle of the district. Hopefully, the Heroes who were still well enough to aid in the patrol would see it.
[The message Ramza leaves has a brief explanation of the patrols, a few routes sketched out, and a series of days and times that a hero can sign up for. Most of the routes circle past houses, so that, if a Hero falls ill, help will not be too far away.]
B. On your Patrol Route
Darkness had fallen. The streets were quiet, with the lights from the Moogle's decorations casting a eerie glow. Not knowing what enemy they faced, Ramza tried to coordinate each patrol so that no hero went unaccompanied. There was strength in numbers...he hoped.
[Note: The heroes on patrol will not be able to locate whatever it is attacking the moogles. If any moogles are sent out.away from their heroes during patrols, they will most likely be injured, and if a moogle actively attempts to guide the heroes to the attacker, they will be wounded.]

"I do not know how we have not caught even a glimpse of the thing. The attacks have risen in frequency, and we have been watching. It does not add up." He too kept an eye out as they walked, searching every shadow for some hint of their culprit.
A
Many thoughts tumbled around in her mind as she walked. She was grateful for the cold air because it steadied her nerves. "I've only paroled during the day." She wanted to go out at night but both Link and Kopu had asked her not too.
A
He nodded at her. "Daylight patrols are important as well. Many of the attacks have occurred during the day. I have searched at nightfall as well, and I have little to show for it." He planned to keep at it, though, as long as the attacks were happening. Even if he could not discover the culprit, he hoped having Heroes out on the streets would act as a deterrent.

Zelda turned to face Ramza with a friendly smile. "It might be a small gesture but I am hoping that just being nearby would dissuade an attack."
A
He returned Zelda's smile. "It might indeed. And with your white magic, I am sure the moogles will find great comfort in the knowledge that you are nearby." If they could not prevent attacks, they could at least respond quickly to help the victims. It was a morbid thought, but practical.
A
Zelda's brows furrowed as she thinks about everything that has happened recently. It was unsettling but she tried not to let it get in the way of her usual happy mood.

"Perhaps Cloud or Yuffie," he admitted at last. They were the ones he counted among friends, rather than acquaintances or allies. They were both so young, though. He did not know if he would wish to burden them if he was in need, thus the hesitation. "The Lady Ashelia seems very competent in terms of leading and fighting, and if I was in need of healing, I suppose I would turn to you, Lady Zelda." He felt a little silly voicing it aloud. He had not know any of the Heroes long, and he hoped it would be a while before he would have to ask them for any favors.
"Who do you rely on, Lady Zelda?" he asked in return.
A
Zelda continued to walk, placing her hands behind her back. "I grew up in a place where we all relied on each other. It didn't matter what family you were born into or what your job was, everyone pulled their own weight and helped each other. It breeds amazing strength." Her lips curled into a happy smile as she thought of her home.

It was a nice thought but Zelda wanted to make it more than that. She truly believed that she could change something if she tried hard enough.
A
"Thank you," he told her, not just for the standing offer of help.
"Shall we be onward? There are Heroes to check in on." He gestured to the houses they were approaching.
[[Should we wrap up soon, since we don't have any heroes to visit?]]
