Who: Everyone!
What: A week late Halloween celebration.
Where: The Observatory
When: Friday, Nov. 6, 7:00 PM
Warnings: The Heroes and a party. What could possibly go wrong?

On November 5, another letter from Johnny would go out to everyone reminding them of the costume party, and invite all the newbies along as well. Costumes are a necessity for entrance, except for the newbies, since they've only been here a little over 24 hours now.

The Observatory is in its usual party set up, but this time with an added stage area for any musicians who would like to perform. It's also the spot set up for the costume contest later on. The whole place is covered in festive Night of the 13 Moogles decorations, and as always, there's plenty of food and drinks.

[[This is just a general mingle log, and a good way for the new Heroes to meet everyone, so post whatever and have fun!]]

[Levy has come to the costume wearing a sexy moogle costume, complete with pom-pom headband, little red wings on her back, fuzzy white slippers and gloves, and a midriff-bearing fluffy white outfit.

And despite her usual professional demeanor, it looks like Levy really knows how to party once there's reason to. She's a lightweight for sure, and it doesn't take much, but at least she's a happy drunk!]

Heeeeeeey! This is a great party, don't you think?

[Cloud can't help but blink in surprise at Levy's outfit. She's never struck him as a prude or such, but this is still a slight further than what he's used to seeing her in.

He feels positively overdressed in his full body chocobo outfit.]

Uh, yeah...it's pretty fun...

[The mask ~~and his age~~ has also kept him from keeping up with her as far as drinks go. It muffles his voice a little as well. At least he can breathe.]

[Levy takes a long stare at Cloud and then bursts out laughing.]

That's a great costume! Your spiky hair looks just like a chocobo's!

[She giggles at the word.]

Choooooocoboooooooo.

[Cloud feels a little more confused than embarrassed or put off by the comment for once. Mainly because that's not his hair but part of the mask. Does he REALLY look that much like a chocobo?]

Heh...you're having a good time right now, aren't you?

[He may be a bit young to hang out in a bar but he knows a drunken slur when he hears one.]

Um, your outfit is cute too.

[Either that, or Levy's that drunk.]

Ehehe... yeah! I don't get to cut loose like this too often!

[Pfft, Levy's only 17 herself. But Fairy Tail doesn't seem to care much about drinking ages, if Cana is any indication.]

Thanks! I can look sexy too if I try, you know!

Uh, yeah, I guess so....

[Even if she's only a year his senior his cheeks are still nicely pink behind his mask at her speaking so boldy about being sexy. The only other one he's heard talk like that recently was Yuffie, and that was a while ago and in jest. He quickly looks around, hoping to find Tifa in the crowd, but his shoulders sink when he fails to find her.

He hasn't seen her much at all lately.]

Awww, lookit your cheeks!

[Levy giggles, reaching out with a finger to poke Cloud in the side of the face even as he's looking elsewhere.]

[Cloud jumps at the sudden invasion of his space and the finger creeping under his mask to poke at him. He flails back a few steps, feathers flying from his wings and he very nearly squawks like a Chocobo himself.]

H-hey!

[Poor boy is wound up so tight!]

Ahhh, you're so cute!

[She's less flirtatious and more just happy in general.]

I...uh...thanks. You too.

[Cloud's just feeling more and more awkward. He doesn't want to be rude and run off, nor does he want to leave her alone in case she really is too drunk right now. At least no sitcom level comedic lines have been crossed.]

Hey, you know what I could really go for right about now?

[She leans in weirdly close.]

I...uh...no...what could you really go for?

[Cloud's eyes flit nervously under the mask. His whole body is shock still. The anticipation of the answer might literally be killing him.]

[There's a short pause. She's either increasing the tension or forgot what she was going to say. But after a few moments, she winks as her mouth curls up in a sly little grin.]

...Another drink!

[All the tension is broken with those two words and his body reacts like an uncoiling spring. Cloud's isn't quite the pratfall expected of a Fairy Tail guildmember but it's was damn close. He wobbles and flailed his arms up, feathers going flying.

It takes him a moment to regain his composure, ending up hunched over in defeat, head hanging.]

What kind of drink would you like?

Something with a loooooot of booze in it.

[Maybe he should just bring her some water.]

[Water DOES seem like a good idea. He makes sure to keep her in sight as he goes off to get her some water, but also some punch. Hopefully in her state she'll just assume that it's spiked and won't be able to tell the difference.

He returns with the drinks in short order.]

[Yeah, she doesn't even notice. She just gulps that right on down, making a big exaggerated 'ahhhhh' sound right after.]

That really hit the spot!

[Cloud just nods, happy to see his guild leader drinking something other than booze. He frowns behind his mask, trying to decide if he's going to need to spend the rest of the evening watching after her. He doesn't want to abandon her but if she's intent on getting drunk he'd be in for a rough ride.]
