What: A week late Halloween celebration.

Warnings: The Heroes and a party. What could possibly go wrong?

On November 5, another letter from Johnny would go out to everyone reminding them of the costume party, and invite all the newbies along as well. Costumes are a necessity for entrance, except for the newbies, since they've only been here a little over 24 hours now.

The Observatory is in its usual party set up, but this time with an added stage area for any musicians who would like to perform. It's also the spot set up for the costume contest later on. The whole place is covered in festive Night of the 13 Moogles decorations, and as always, there's plenty of food and drinks.

[Johnny just watched in amusement as the tail harmlessly thwaped his shins.]

I dunno, man. I'd say I'd have to arrest ya for assault now, but I dunno how I'd handcuff ya.

Your lack of ingenuity is no fault of mine.

[Billy poked one of his real arms through the tiny space beside his stubby dino arms to make a grab at the candy on the table before he retreated back. Open defiance in front of the law...and people said Billy didn't know how to have fun.]

[Johnny just shrugs as he takes a handful for himself.]

Well, I'm a cop. We're not known for our imaginations. Or senses of humor. Or, y'know, other fun stuff. [What a high opinion he has of them. But he is saying it with a grin on his face, at least.]

[Billy just snorted.]

You just don't want to admit that you don't have jurisdiction over dinosaurs. Because dinosaurs are cooler than cops.

[He took a little cup of punch and tried to get it to his mouth. Nope. That was not going to happen. Ok, so maybe Johnny's costume had ONE advantage over Billy's.]

[Johnny cracked up at that.]

So cool, they can't even eat anything. Good job, man.

[Deep within his stupid dinosaur head, Billy flushed a little.]

Shut up, the kids at the Observatory helped me make this...

[As sarcastic as Billy was, and as much as he acted like he didn't care about others' opinions, he was totally embarrassed that this cool older guy was laughing at him. Besides, he had to stick up for the kids' artistic expression.]

[Aww. That's sweet. But he's still going to antagonize you. It's what Johnny does.]

Kids, huh. I shoulda guessed. Next time, remind 'em ya gotta be able to eat in yer costume.

[He nods towards the bowl of candy.] But make sure ya bring 'em something for their hard work.

[Billy took a big handful of candy and brought it back inside the paper mache monstrosity to slip into his pockets.]

I will. [Like he needed this big goof telling him how to take care of the kids. He started to shuffle off.]
