better late than never
Who: Everyone!
What: A week late Halloween celebration.
Where: The Observatory
When: Friday, Nov. 6, 7:00 PM
Warnings: The Heroes and a party. What could possibly go wrong?
On November 5, another letter from Johnny would go out to everyone reminding them of the costume party, and invite all the newbies along as well. Costumes are a necessity for entrance, except for the newbies, since they've only been here a little over 24 hours now.
The Observatory is in its usual party set up, but this time with an added stage area for any musicians who would like to perform. It's also the spot set up for the costume contest later on. The whole place is covered in festive Night of the 13 Moogles decorations, and as always, there's plenty of food and drinks.
[[This is just a general mingle log, and a good way for the new Heroes to meet everyone, so post whatever and have fun!]]

The young Esper exhales slowly before looking over at Kobato.]
That sounds like fun. I didn't know heroes could work for mognet.

[Though how along ago it was since then she couldn't quite remember, but she figured it wasn't that long.]
no subject
Sounds like you’ve been doing it for a long time.
[She assumes that Kobato enjoys it though Terra can’t imagine running around so much.]
Do you just deliver mail in the city?
[Traveling to other places feels tedious though Terra is sure some people do just that. After all, she’s planning to write Sephiroth when he leaves for Esdham and someone will have to carry that letter.
As they continue their conversation the kitten is enthralled with the red pompom. Kobato should be warned for if Flower gets a hold of it then she’ll most likely have to replace it.]

I did for a little while. Now I help put less, but still do if they need it.
[Considering Kobato didn't wear the outfit much except this one time, probably wouldn't matter what happened to it, never the less she keeps up with moving it.]
Sometime, yes. But sometimes I'm expected to travel places.

[A little too exciting for Terra but it’s the sort of material that might be seen in day dreams. She smiles softly before tucking a loose strand of green behind her ear.]
Come on Flower, that’s enough. I have toys for you at home.
[She talks to the cat pulling him from his efforts to catch the red pompom. He’d probably get tired soon if he kept up his playing and she wants him to stay awake if possible. Once the little cat falls asleep she’d have to take him home.]

So... tell me a bit about yourself? A-And I'll do the same of course.
no subject
About myself?
[She isn't too good with this sort of thing because she isn't sure what she's like.]
What would you like to know?
no subject
[She thought this would be a good idea, but she actually didn't think of what exactly to talk about. Maybe simple things? But what would that be exactly?]
Um... How about... What you do? When you aren't working.

When I get home Tempest and I will cook. She’s been teaching me and we try and make enough for the whole house. After that I’ll usually read, Genesis had collected a lot of interesting books so I’ve been going through those.
[Lately she’s been reading by the fire and it’s very relaxing considering how much she does during the day for the kittens and the flower shop.]

[Kobato had tried so many times. Sometimes she managed and others she didn't. Usually then Ursa had to get involved if it got too bad.]
I'm not good at cooking myself, but I want to be able to.
no subject
[Terra only knows how to make a few things.]
I hadn't cooked before coming here.
[There is a slight pause before she continues.]
Why not ask your moogle to teach you?
no subject
[She felt like she had gotten better though, better than at the beginning.]
no subject
I mess up too but I haven't made the same mistake twice.
[That's at least one improvement.]
no subject
[Her hands lightly grasp one another as she spoke, she had nothing else to do after all.]
no subject
I agree.
[It'd certainly make things easier.
As she spoke Flower stretches and yawns in her arms. The cat looks like it's completely tired himself out.]
no subject
It looks like your cat is very tired now.
no subject
I should probably get going soon and put him to bed. [She then looks up at Kobato with a warm smile.] Thank you, it's been really nice just talking to someone.
[Even if it's awkward and about things that don't really make sense.]
no subject
[She gave a sweet smile to the other, not planning on bothering her any more as she shifted to stand up, picking up her moogle head as she did. She best put it back on.]
We'll keep talking in the future, yes?
no subject
[She'd like to talk more considering how much time she spends on her own.]
Feel free to stop by the flower shop too.
[Terra stands and begins walking towards the door with Flower carefully held in her arms.]
