What: A week late Halloween celebration.

Warnings: The Heroes and a party. What could possibly go wrong?

On November 5, another letter from Johnny would go out to everyone reminding them of the costume party, and invite all the newbies along as well. Costumes are a necessity for entrance, except for the newbies, since they've only been here a little over 24 hours now.

The Observatory is in its usual party set up, but this time with an added stage area for any musicians who would like to perform. It's also the spot set up for the costume contest later on. The whole place is covered in festive Night of the 13 Moogles decorations, and as always, there's plenty of food and drinks.

Nor would I expect ya to. [He'll take her drink and have a swig before handing it back.] But since ya were so kind to share, citizen, I think I can let ya off with a warning this time.

[Yuna takes her drink back with a smile. This whole conversation has brought a smile to her lips though it’s perhaps Johnny’s influence.]

I was almost hoping that I wouldn’t get off so easily.

[Her tone is light and teasing as she takes another small sip.]

You look like you’re enjoying yourself.

What can I say. I guess I'm the good cop, not the bad cop.

[He grins. He sure is enjoying himself.]

Hell yeah. I love a good Halloween party. I'd be even better if we could watch some horror movies, but I'll take what I can get.

You seem like ya are, too. Good.

[Yuna nods and then takes another sip from her glass before answering.]

I’ve never had a party like this but I like it. [Her smile widens slightly as she brings her glass to her lips.] I really like costumes.

[It’s a general statement but it’s a little embarrassing to admit.]

Really? Ya never been to a costume party? Didn't ya say you had access to a bunch, too? I gotta say, nice choice on your one for tonight. Tell ya what - no matter what sorta bullshit happens next Halloween, no matter if we even gotta push it off another week like this year, I'll make sure we get a costume party. Deal?

Yeah, I use each outfit to fight. Sort of like the jobs here except a little different.

[Her smile widens slightly.]

It's a deal but do I have to do anything for this deal? It sounds like you'd be doing all the work.

Nah, it's nothin'. I just tell folks we're havin' a party, and set this place up. Everyone else brings the food 'n booze. And the company. And so long as no one minds, I play some tunes. But if ya really wanna help, I won't stop ya. Especially if you wanna do some music yerself.

I'd be happy to do music.

[She smiles brightly, clapping her palms together.]

Besides singing and dancing I can play the piano and 5 notes on the guitar.

[Yuna thinks about that for a moment.]

Maybe I could use my date with you for guitar lessons. I still have it right?

[He'd almost forgotten about those dates.]

Oh, right. Yeah, sure, I'd be glad to. Five chords is a lot more than some people know, though, so you're already doin' pretty well. 'Sides, if you play the piano already, playin' guitar will come a lot easier to ya.

[She doesn't know about key's or the scales since her world only has a handful of C based instruments.]

I've just taught myself mostly.

[Yuna doesn't think it will be so easy.]

Seriously? Nice. My uncle taught me to play guitar, since he played himself. Just as a hobby, though. Once it turned out I was decent at it, I got sent for real lessons, and for voice, too. I think my mom was just thrilled that I finally had an interest in somethin' that wasn't getting in trouble all the damn time.

[His mother would totally agree with that.]

[Yuna laughs, her fingers rising to cover her lips.]

Don't you still get in trouble?

[It's more fun to get in trouble or at least that's what Yuna has found out over the years. Following the rules aren't always the best choices anyway.]

No one said I couldn't play music and get in trouble. There's enough hours in the day for both.

[Johnny really is just an overgrown kid in a lot of ways.]

[Yuna can tell but it's nice that he's able to relax and have fun. She envies him a little.]

I think you do a good job at both.
