What: A week late Halloween celebration.

Warnings: The Heroes and a party. What could possibly go wrong?

On November 5, another letter from Johnny would go out to everyone reminding them of the costume party, and invite all the newbies along as well. Costumes are a necessity for entrance, except for the newbies, since they've only been here a little over 24 hours now.

The Observatory is in its usual party set up, but this time with an added stage area for any musicians who would like to perform. It's also the spot set up for the costume contest later on. The whole place is covered in festive Night of the 13 Moogles decorations, and as always, there's plenty of food and drinks.

Yeah...I remember everything they made me do. [He shudders a bit but he doesn't look that wracked about it. Somehow knowing what was going on during that night makes it a bit better than if he didn't know at all. At least he knows he wasn't to blame.]

He...he was doing what he had to do. It wasn't like he was trying to kill me personally. Everyone was trying to rescue me...well pretty much everyone.

[There WAS that one guy who tried to kill him afterwards.]

[Reno's face darkened and he opened his mouth to speak, then stopped. Maybe Cloud was right. This was a different Sephiroth... sort of. And as much as Reno was ready to blame him and be angry because of the threat to Cloud, maybe he was biased.]

[Still, he wasn't ready to condone the behavior.]

I guess... Still suggested it awful fast for my taste.

[He muttered. Maybe it was a good thing Cloud wasn't older, didn't know the future between him and Reno. He wouldn't realize how strange that statement was coming from a man who readily massacred hundreds.]

But I guess it doesn't matter now, since he didn't have to. I'm pretty relieved.

So... [Time to lighten the subject, before things got even heavier and more awkward.] The chocobo suit? Whose idea was that?

[Cloud nods and at least offers Reno a smile. The concern does mean a lot to him. He's glad that there's people in this world who are worried about him. It's much better than being a nobody in the background like in Nibelheim or Midgar. And he's earning it on his own now.

But he DOES know Reno. He knows the things you will do. But he's intent to not think about the future. Instead he's resolved to live in his present. For all he knows the future of Gaia may not come to pass for him.

At the mention of the chocobo suit his smile falters some and he slouches in the costume.]

Well, dressing like a chocobo was my idea but I wasn't expecting the old man to have an outfit like this in the storage shed...It's actually pretty well made though.

[Reno smirked and crossed his arms.]

So you can't get that pissed for me callin' you out on it. But yeah, I wouldn't a' guessed someone would have somethin' ready-made that was so... accurate.

[Cloud blushes a bit and rubs the back of his neck, the feathers on his arm wing sleeves rustling a bit.]

Yeah....yeah it was so I guess you're right. I just wonder what he had it made for in the first place.

[It fits well enough that Cloud is worried the old man was just coming into some new scheme to embarrass him before Cloud signed up himself.

Cloud then finally turns his gaze to Reno's own outfit.]
