Summary: The first trip to the Continent of Ruins is finally happening! The Heroes of Light, the Enterprise Crew, Cid and O'aka are all onboard for the trip. What will the Heroes of Light find there? [She nods with an excited smile.]

It's simple but I really like it.

[It reminds her of home.]

Are you exploring?

[She really hopes there is something interesting to find here.]

That's right. I'm looking around mostly, but there's so much to see right now.

It's not unlike home, where past astral and umbral eras had left their marks.

Same.

[She smiles.]

I mean, not those but the people who were there before us left ruins and spheres for us to find. I was a sphere hunter before arriving here.

A sphere hunter? What pray tell is a sphere hunter? It sounds like quite a interesting tale.

[He was genuinely curious after all to what these spheres were.]

Sphere are magical orbs but they contain the history of Spira. It's fragmented because they are like movies but it gives us a glimpse into the past.

[Of a time before Sin.]

I woke up with mine but they are useless here.

I understand the gist of it, and these "movies" are information, I take it. I had something like that in the past, though I hadn't had any flashes lately.

[He nodded.] Sadly mine isn't really able to show off.

Well these are given to us from the planet. As magic fades... so do they.

[It's one of the many things that Yuna worries about.]

I suppose it's hard to explain really, they are like water but solid when you hold them.

[She pauses.]

They'll more valuable than you might think.

Hmm, I see. You worry about their state?

Because they carry information or memories?

Not exactly, it's just useful when you are searching for the truth.

[It's complicated.]

Those who've taken control of Spira did well to hide the truth of the past for over a thousand years. It makes it hard to uncover.

Ah, I see.

There are a lot of ruins in my world, some of them are good for ancient secrets, some of them are dangerous ruins like the Crystal Tower.

Crystal Tower?

[Yuna's head tilts to the side curiously.]

What's that?

The Crystal Tower is an ancient Allagan structure, which the ruler Zande made a pact with the darkness to rule everlasting. It was awakened recently, and almost tore a rift into the void.

That doesn't sound like a good thing.

[Yuna picks her way along the ruins stopping at anything that looks like it might be a clue to those who lived here. It seems like most things have been taken by those excavating.]

...but I wonder what we might find here?

It really wasn't.

[He nodded, following behind as he checked a few stones for any markings that would be similar to an Allagan Tomestone.]

Who knows? There's so much we don't know about this place.

I hope we can come back then.

[Her fingers lightly trail along one of the walls before falling down to her sides. She stares a little dreamily at the ruins.]

The stories this place could tell.

Hopefully we can stay longer next time we arrive here. And without worries then. Everything has a story, we just need to find it.

[Yuna nods.]

[She repeats his words softly suddenly thinking of someone who's been gone for many years. She shakes her head and then turns back towards the city.]

I'm thinking of heading back. Are you going to stay longer?

I think I've walked around enough. Care to have some company walking back into town?

[Cause really, it was probably safer being in twos.]

Sure.

[Yuna smiles before setting an easy pace for them to walk at. She looks around them as they step forward and then up at Meteor.]

Were you hoping to find anything here?

I was hoping to see more of the races of my world at least. At least it is a comfort to see the Elezen of my homeland here. Sadly there are no sign of the people of the sea, or the Miqo'te or the Au Ra.

I'm sure there are more places we haven't been able to explore.

[Not that Yuna is assuming they are here but there is always a chance.

As they walk back into town the guard is still sleeping at the front gate. A soft sigh leaves Yuna's lips before looking out over the bustling city.]

I hope nothing bad happens to this place either.

I hope not too. This is a gorgeous city, and it makes me feel a little at home.

Hopefully, whatever catastrophe might befall the land, will spare this one.

[Yuna doubts it but they can hope.]

Thank you for walking with me Meteor. I'm going to explore a little bit more.

[She bows her head slightly and begins walking off towards the gaming center.]
