Yeah, y'know. Like in medieval times? Yeah, I know this world ain't that backwards, but sometimes it feels like it.

[He looks over the consoles, grinning like an excited kid in a candy store.]

Hell yeah I do. And I haven't gotten to play 'em in ages. This looks like some real old school style shit in here too, which is awesome. I never expected to find somethin' like this on Crystallis.

I don't know anything about those times, but I didn't know they were dark and backwards?

[It sounded so sad really. dark ages meant dark times, poor people.]

I've never actually played video games before. I mean I have seen them played, but I don't get them at all.

It was over a thousand years ago. Well, from 2012. So yeah, things were kinda shit back then. Anyway. Doesn't matter. What does matter is that we're here, there's video games, and you should totally play some. I don't know how ya couldn't "get" 'em. They're just for fun. Just try a few out, 'n see what ya like. Right?

I didn't need to play them back home. They weren't part of what I had to do. But I guess I could try and play at least one, but I won't be great at it.

[It didn't, that was a mission she had to do, but she enjoyed it so it was the same, right?]

I... getcha. [He does not.] And this was a full-time gig? No off time to relax or anything?

I didn't do much, so I guess in my case it was a full time thing.

[Not much has changed really since the last world now that she thought about it.]

[He feels kind of bad for her, even if he doesn't quite understand her situation. She was pretty young to be so busy with helping people, to not have any time to herself.]

Uh, well, no time like the present to start a new hobby, right? Thought I guess we shouldn't get too attached to these, unless these people are gonna let us take a console with us back to Aqures Ixen. Which would be sweet as hell, but I doubt will happen. C'mon, let's find something two player, and I'll show ya the ropes.

Even if you did how would it work at Aqures? I mean if they let you, you could live here, I guess, but then you would be really far away from a lot of friends and such and that would be really sad.

[She tilted her head slightly before nodded. Learning something new was always fun and she couldn't mess it up, right?]

Okay! Though how can you tell what's a two player?

See how some of 'em have more than one set of joystick and buttons? Those definitely are. Some of the others are too, but ya just rotate turns. So what kinda games interest ya? Action, space, puzzles, racing... They got a lotta options.

[There were so many it was really hard to choose and as she started to get more and confused she started to flail a little bit.]

Alright, don't worry about it. We'll just do a racing game, okay? They got one called Chocobo Runner that's pretty fun. All ya gotta do is steer it and dodge the obstacles, okay? Sound good?

[Though with Kobato it would be anything but simple. But for now she believes it is the case. She moves to sit down and takes a look at what she had to do before looking over to the other.]
