[Yuffie's just going to stare at Ven for a very long moment.]

You mean you want me to fall on you again?

[He isn't making much sense and honestly she expects him to be more upset than he is. She'll continue to stare until she's given answers. Her memory pulls at the thoughts of his files and it only confuses her further.

As in accurate as what she read is.]

[Don't confuse him with Vanitas, Yuffie. B(

Ven blinks at her, but then he's quick to laugh again.]

No, I was just kidding. Or do you fall a lot?

[Yuffie lightly scratches the back of her head while a sheepish smile pulls across her lips.]

Define... a lot.

[She does fall but it's usually controlled or she finds someone to land on and then speeds away. It's really not so bad.]

[Quit making him laugh, he'll feel bad!]

I'd think more than a couple times would be a lot for a ninja.

[Yuffie's smile breaks and her arms are thrown to her side.]

What!? What do you mean for a Ninja!?

[She's a little angry and it's enough for her to forget about who it is she's talking too and what she read about him. She raises her pointer finger up and starts waving it at Ven.]

I'm the greatest ninja of Wutai, who are the greatest ninja's out of every world and I'm their princess so don't laugh!

Princess? [Don't mind if he sounds ~~skeptical~~ surprised.] Seriously?

[Yuffie's arms fall to her side and her head rolls slightly.]

Why does everyone sound like that?

[She sounds discouraged.]

Oh -- uh -- sorry, I didn't mean it like...

[...like he totally did.]

I've only met a couple princesses before, so I guess I... can't really talk. [Although, those ones definitely fit the storybook description of a princess. Yuffie... not so much, thus far.]

[Yuffie starts to pout and had she been younger she might have even cried. Instead she turns away keeping her arms straight at her sides.]

I'll just go then.

[She takes a step trying to think about the happiness she was feeling seconds before. She's tired of people bursting her bubble.]

[Aw shoot he screwed up didn't he

He takes a step after her.]

Hey, wait -- I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be rude. I think it's pretty cool that you're a princess and a ninja. I've never heard of that before.

[She can keep walking, but he at least wants to smooth things over a bit on her way out. ;~; ]

[Yuffie pauses and looks back at Ven. Mooshoo is still floating there as if saying that Yuffie's being unreasonable. With an annoyed sigh she turns back to Ven with a smile.]

To say sorry buy me Ice Cream.

[She takes Ven's arm and urges him to lead the way.]

What--?

[He's barely gotten that out when she's already latched onto him. He blinks, thinking that's an odd way to apologize ~~especially since this all started with her landing on him~~, but hey, whatever works! Ice cream is good.

So he nods with a laugh and directs them back up the street; he's pretty sure he passed an ice cream place on the way.]

All right, it's on me.

[Yuffie doesn't always make sense. Who wants ice cream at the end of fall? The answer is the ninja princess who is currently latched to Ven's arm. There is a smile on her lips as if his hurtful words hadn't happened except she still feels the sting.

She doesn't think she'll ever be a proper princess.]

What's your favorite ice cream?

[He has to think about that one, even though it's not the first time he's been asked.]

A little bit of everything, I guess! Although... I think chocolate's sounding good today.

[Yep, there's the place -- it's small, but the sign outside advertises a lot of choices. Inside, it's run by a few primal moogles.]

How about you?

[She looks at the flavors provided and smiles pointing to a pink colored ice cream with rainbow flecks of something that's similar to chocolate chips.]

That one.

[Turn's out it's cotton candy flavored.]

[Good to his word, Ven orders the indicated flavor for her -- and chocolate for himself -- and after paying he leads them aside so they can try their ice cream in peace.]

How is it? As good as it looks?

[Yuffie takes a bite feeling the cold ice cream slip down her throat and into her stomach. She's definitely going to be cold after this.]

Yeah!

[But it's hers, Yuffie doesn't like sharing.]

[That's fine with him. As long as she's feeling better, that's what counts.

And hey, if they're standing around to eat anyway, why not keep on with the small talk?]

So where were you runnin' so fast to, anyway?

[Yuffie shrugs.]

Nowhere, I think it’s easier to talk on roofs but Mooshoo was complaining that I was standing out to much so a jumped down. [It’s only then that Yuffie notices Mooshoo’s absence. Her heart jumps into her throat and she drops her ice cream. She remembers being warned that people can get kidnapped and Mooshoo stands out as a flying little ball of fluff.]

Mooshoo?

[She turns trying to spot him but she sees nothing within the crowd.]

Shit where is he?!

[Ven's heard no such rumors yet, so Yuffie's reaction startles him. Still, she's upset for whatever reason, and he takes that seriously.]

Hey, easy -- I'm sure he's around. [He also turns quickly in place, trying to spot the moogle.] Where'd you see him last?

[Did he enter the shop with them? He can't remember.]

[Yuffie shoves a hand towards Ven to stop him.]

No, I'll find him.

[Her gaze flicks out over the crowd and after a moment she sees the familiar pompom of a moogle bob over the crowd. Yuffie glares towards Mooshoo.]

That little....

[She turns towards Ven with a sweet smile.]

I have to go kill my moogle. I'll see you around.

[...Ven's actually not sure which is scarier: the fact that she's smiling as she makes that threat, or the idea of what she might look like if she actually appeared angry.

But at least the moogle's okay! ...for now...]

Oh -- uh -- okay?

[what]

Don't -- be too hard on him.

[Yuffie isn't going to be that hard on him but she is going to give the moogle a well deserved noogy for making her worry. She waves to Ventus before disappearing into the crowd.]
