Looks like one of those old school arcade games, I think I can handle that much.

[Might take her a few turns to get the handle of controls though. But for now she steps up to the plate and here she goes. It however doesn't take her long for her to fail at least twice.]

Okay, now I think I might have the handle of it.

[Yuna takes a seat next to her with a smile. She watches Minako die twice but she doesn't comment on the sudden game over's. Instead she nods and continues watching to see how her friend will do after getting the hang of the game.]

I'm cheering for you.

[Her eyes were on the game and she was slowly getting better, but she wanted to have a nice little chat.]

So how has life been? We haven't really spoken about that type of thing in a while after all.

[ooc: sorta ended the Blitzball thread where it was >.<]

[Yuna smiles feeling a little nervous at that question. She doesn't really know what to think lately though she isn't sure who to talk to. Minako is a lot younger than her but many she can see it in a way that Yuna can't.

The sphere hunters head gently rests against the game as she watches the fighter move across the screen.]

Well... I started liking someone. I even moved in with him so we could see each other more but... I don't think he really likes me and I've been feeling really nervous about making connections here.

[At least lately.]

[OOC: That's fine.]

[Minako kept quiet for a brief moment. Letting the other speak while she focused on the level. She moved the fighter across the screen before getting involved with a fight before speaking up again.]

Have you asked how they feel? I mean it's one thing to keep quiet and learn the hard way and never saying it, but it's another to never know and simply question yourself and it's simply an easy and logical thing to simply ask. As for the connection thing is there a reason for that?

I haven't asking in so many words.

[She's confessed but they hadn't confirmed anything else passed that.]

Yeah, my situation is a little complicated and I'm not sure what to do about it. He probably wouldn't approve the more I think about it.

[Chaos is powerful and unpredictable.]

Wouldn't approve?

[She made her character jump over and attack, her eyes were still focused on the screen in front of her. Slowly but surely she was getting through it.]

So what about your situation would be complicated?

[Yuna hopes she isn't distracting Minako.]

Well... I don't age anymore.

[That's one complication besides them not being able to stay together.]

[Minako was stuck and it wasn't long before her character died again. She had at least one more life, so she carried on as if nothing happened.]

Don't age as in it's slower and you stay young for much longer or that immortal thing which I think would be awful considering all the comics and such I've read?

[Whenever they had an immortal person, they were always the bad guy, or at least twisted and horrible. She would want that on any friend.]

[Yuna sighs softly.]

The immortal thing.

[She doesn’t want to go crazy or have to life live times alone. She can probably be killed but if she continues to train then even that would be difficult and Yuna isn’t the sort of person who’d ever end her own life.]

It makes everything a little complicated.

I can see why since people grow old and die eventually no matter how long ones life span is. However it sounds like it's you that is over thinking everything and doubting it. So I should ask do you actually want to be in a relationship? If not then you kind of answered what you want to do.

[And it's game over for her as she will just have to start over again in the hopes she will get further.]

I do want one... but I'm a little frightened.

[She hasn't forgotten what Caius had told her about the Chaos, what it's power should be used for. She doesn't want to be alone but she knows the pain of loss. She's already felt it once before.]

I don't get scared very often.

[She admits softly, keeping her eyes on the game.]

Why does it scare you?

[She doesn't know much about this type of thing except in comics. Sure she had a long 1000 year life ahead of her, but that was not the same thing. That was because of her Queen and they wouldn't die again. She knew she would die again eventually however.]

[Yuna's finding that it's really hard to explain. Before now her choices have seemed so easy but then she met Fai and she's been rethinking everything. She can't really say why.]

I don't know...

[It just scares her. No one really wants to be alone, even if that time is far off it's still going to happen.]

[She wasn't sure what she was going to say next, but she knew she was going to try and be helpful. Off the little characters goes as she finished the level and soon moves onto the next one.]

Okay, so you don't know... Well I guess we can try and figure it out by asking questions. Is it because of how you feel that makes everything scary?

It's because I've seen how the future can turn out.

[She pauses and then shakes her head.]

It's not very happy. I know a way around that and that's having love in your life but I've seen what ends up happening after watching countless people that you care about die.

[She doesn't want to end up like Caius.]

Knowing what the future holds, I agree can be a scary thing.

[She turned her head as her character had died again and it was a game over. Maybe she should say something face to face rather than focus on it, at least for now. Putting he hands on her knees she gave a soft smile.]

I've seen people... die a lot myself in order to... [She paused for a brief moment.] Can I say this part doesn't leave the two of us?

[Yuna is used to death, it isn’t dying that scares her so much as living but she bites back the comment and then nods. If Minako wishes to tell her a secret then she’d keep it between them.]

[She nodded slightly, she trusted Yuna to not say anything and she was comfortable enough to admit it.]

I've seen a lot of people die in order to fulfil my purpose back home, I've even had to hurt or kill the people I cared about, or at least liked and this purpose is something I will be doing for at least a 1000 years.

[She gives a small smile slightly.]

So I guess I can understand your problems although I made my choice to always pick my duty over anyone else. That was my choice and it is not something I wish for you to do. I want you to be happy even if you only have that happiness for so long.

[Yuna watches Minako wide eyed and shocked. She hadn’t known that the chipper young girl carried such a burden. Eventually her expression relaxed and there was a smile on her lips.]

Thank you Minako. I will then.

[Or at least she’s going to try.]

[She smiled slightly. She hoped that she had helped even if for a little bit.]

[Her eyes glanced at the screen before looking back at the other.]

[She smiles and waves briefly.]

I am going to continue playing these games for as long as possible.
