Shopping~

[Like many others, Ib is perusing the various shops and stalls the city has to offer. But... it seems like nothing is catching her fancy. Or maybe she's looking for something specific? Either way, she's looking one of the trinket stalls with a frustrated pout on her face.]


Pyramid of Prayers~

[Later on, she's made her way to the Pyramid of Prayers, but is sort of loitering around the entrance uncertainly. This place is more intimidating than the Eidolon temple. More... official. Does she need permission to go in?

Well... they'll top her if she does, right?]


It's so much bigger than the one in Aqures Ixen was....

[Hey, Ib, have a Twilight looking curiously at you as you look around]

[Well... Ib turns and was totally intending to answer her, but.... unicorn.

Real unicorn.

Okay, actually, after that minute, all that happens is that Ib emits a tiny sound. A little squeak that may have been...]

[Twilight should correct her, but she doesn't. Instead, she chuckles and nods.]

That's right.

[She responds with a high pitched squeak that may or may not have been a word. Who even knows?

Then she takes a breath and tries again.]

Um... you're a real unicorn.

[That was in a hushed whisper, as if she can't quite believe it.]

[Twilight can't help but chuckle. It was so weird having someone in awe over who she was. She smiled and nodded at Ib]

That's right. My name's Twilight Sparkle. What's yours?

Ib.... I never saw a real unicorn before...

[Twilight Sparkle. That does seem like the perfect name for a unicorn. Ib reaches out a hand very tentatively toward Twilight before she realizes that maybe it's rude to pet talking unicorns.]

Um, can I pet you?

[It's not rude if you ask first, right?]

[ Twilight blinked at the request, but ultimately, she couldn't say no, especially to someone like her. ]

Of course, Ib. I don't mind at all.

[ And she leans over to let Ib do so ]

[With eyes full of awe and wonder, Ib reaches out very slowly and pats Twilight's mane. A real unicorn. This is the moment every little girl dreams of.]

Oh, your mane is so soft....

[And finally it occurs to her to wonder.]

Are you.... a hero?

[Twilight can't help but blush at the compliment. Okay, maybe those tips Rarity gave her really helped out. Though, hearing Ib's question shook her out of that as she answered her.]

Ah, yes, I am. I just arrived here this month. Are you one, too?

Yeah, it's pretty huge. They must take the Eidolons really seriously here.

Do you think the Eidolons are mad about what happened to their temple in Aqures Ixen?

I don't really know. But I came here to apologize.

[She holds up the bag from the marketplace.]

I brought them something too.

[She's hoping a small offering will help smooth things over.]

[Levy smiles, reaching out to pat Ib on the head.]

You're a good girl, Ib. That's very thoughtful of you. I'm sure the eidolons will appreciate it.

[She smiles at the compliment.]

I hope so. I couldn't protect their temple in Aqures Ixen, so I hope they aren't mad....

Thanks. I also thought the people at the temple might know about some Eidolons that we haven't found yet.

Probably. The Mysidians seem like they know a lot of things we don't.

[Saori happens to be going through shops and stalls herself when she spots Ib. She hadn't had a chance to talk to the girl since the Date Auction so it was time to change that.]

Ah, Ib, was it? What's wrong?

[Ib smiles. Saori was really nice at the auction. Maybe she can get some advice.]

I want to buy something to take to the Eidolon temple. But I don't know what I should get.

You mean like an offering to the Eidolons themselves? If so, which ones did you have in mind?

[She wasn't a summoner herself, but she did read about the Eidolons while on her occasional reading binges. Maybe it's because she's a goddess herself but she did find it fascinating that some of them shared the same names and traits of gods and mythical beasts back home.]

Um....

[It had not even occurred to Ib that different Eidolons might want different things. Of course, now that she thinks about it, of course they would.Now she feels silly.]

I was just... going to get something for all of them...

And there's quite a lot of them too...I do think it's really sweet of you to get them something. I'm sure they'll appreciate whatever we get them.

[This was tricky. They all had to different personalities. Regardless, they're going to like what Ib was going to give them or so help them when they face the wrath of a mother.]

Did you see what others had brought as offerings by chance? That might be a good place to start and we can work from there.

I didn't even think of that. I should've checked first.
