[He simply nods, taking it as his sign on understanding and was simply focused on the game that was in front of him. He was covering the right, aiming and firing when he needed to. He felt like he was doing decently okay at least.]

I think I need to quickly reload soon, so are you ready to keep an eye while I take that second to do it?

Yup. I've got you covered.

[Chiaki moves into a slightly more aggressive posture, ready to cover the whole screen for a few moments.]

[Yugi used that moment to make sure that the gun was reloaded. Once he knew it was he held it up again.]

Okay, reloaded. I'm back.

[While the two were playing people had started to gather.]

Good. To your left.

[Chiaki quickly changes her aim and shoots an enemy soldier just as he's appearing.]

Got it.

[He aimed to the left and fired, bingo right on target. It seemed like it was all going pretty well and they were getting pretty far. He still also hadn't noticed the increased number of people that had surrounded them.]

Okay, I think there is someone about to come to our right so we best be ready?

We're being boxed in. We need to break through their line and get to the ammo cache in the next room.

Alright so how will we get through. i think I might have decent enough ammo. What about you?

[line_piece]

A slow advance will work the best, even if that sounds contradictory. But our accuracy will need to be good, or we'll run out before we can get there. We'll coordinate our shots so that one of us is always shooting while the other ducks down to reload.

It makes sense actually.

[They needed to get them as much possible with one shot. Maybe to the head he figured at least. He makes sure to do his best at getting one shot kills and he was somewhat confident when he managed at least the first two.]

I'll be shooting first then since I recently reloaded.

Okay.

[Chiaki gets into position, crouching down behind the first obstacle.]

Shoot, head to the next safe spot, and I'll follow. We'll alternate like that as we move forward.

[She waits for the opportune moment, and then...]

Go!

[He nodded doing as what she told him, shoot then move toward the next save spot. Seemed easy enough and his shot had improved and was spot on. Looking back for a brief moment he checked to see if she was ready.]

Go!

Got it!

[Chiaki pops up from her hiding spot, taking out the few guys in her way and joining Yugi at the next one.]

Good. We should be able to make it this way.

Well that's good, though. I wonder how far it is till the end of the level.

[It seemed like it was going on for a good while unless it was no levels and just continuous gaming until they reach the end.]

So we go this way and I believe you mentioned there should be ammo. Just checking before I go first.

Yup. And the boss should be just a little ways past that. It's common to leave ammo caches lying around just before the end of a level.

Right.

[Since this wasn't the type of gaming he was use it, it was good to have it explained to him. With that the character he was controlling was on the move, shooting the ones that were left before getting more ammo.]

[And soon enough, they're both in the ammo room.]

Okay, time to stock up. I'll take half and you take half. Get ready, because the boss should be right ahead.

[sizedoesntmatter]

[He made sure the character had half and that half remained her her character to pick up.]

Okay and we all know boss fights are never easy, so we would need to make sure to use the ammo in the best way possible.

Yeah. We need to make every shot count, and also conserve our health.

[sizedoesntmatter]

Yeah as we don't have any healing items so if it goes too low we are pretty much screwed.

[His character was prepared and ready as he was slowly edging toward where the boss fight would take place.]

On your signal and I'll go first.

[line_piece]

Right. Okay. On my mark.

Three...

Two...

One...

Go!

[And now it's time for the boss rush. Suffice it to say, it is a long and difficult battle, testing the skills of the players to their limit - to say nothing of their ammo clips and health bars. There are weak points to be hit, waves of goons to mow through, and finally the boss falls to a hail of bullets.]

Whew...

[Yugi always made sure to keep doing his best, figuring out where to shot and where not to and when it was over even though he wasn't physically in the game he couldn't help but sigh with relief.]

That was a tough one, but we did it.

Yeah. Nice work.

[And we can probably handwave it from here, with them continuing on through the game in similar fashion.]
