[It isn't hard for the ninja to notice Reno's bright red hair as he leans against the railing. She skips over feeling an over abundance of glee. Her arms fall over the side of the airship as she looks over at Reno with large dark eyes.]

You look like your having fun.

[Her smile is bright as if nothing can get her down.]

[Reno smiled to himself, keeping his eyes closed.]

I haven't flown in two years. Fuck yeah, this is great. Isn't the same as if I was flyin' this bad boy myself, but I'll take what I can get.

[Being in the air like this was a thrill like none other, incomparable except maybe to sex. The view, the power over gravity -- the freedom. He loved it.]

You can fly an airship here ya know. It's a whole job thing and everything.

[She only knows about it because the potato does it as a living and he has access to an airship.]

Two years though?

How's that?

Yeah... But airships are bulkier, an' then people might want rides. I dunno.

[Yuffie's question surprised him, though. After all her prying, he thought she'd found out. But perhaps he'd managed to keep more from her than he'd thought. He finally opened his eyes to look at her.]

I came from another world before this one, Yuff -- like, not Gaia, not home. I was on an island called Atia for almost two years.

Yeah but... don't all worlds have airships?

[The two she's been to did anyway.]

The world you were in before this one sounds awful. [She drapes across the railing and then slides to the ships floor with a smile.]

[Reno shook his head.]

Nah -- then people could actually leave.

[Did he sound bitter? He had a right to be.]

You have no idea...

[But he didn't want to get into that. Not now. Not when it would ruin this trip, and not with Yuffie. They'd had their moments, intimacy the way friends might, but... Well, it was uncomfortable to talk about casually with anyone. And they clearly wouldn't understand.]

[And Yuffie wondered way too much about his sex life as it was.]

So -- whaddaya think we'll find on this Lost Continent, huh?

[His tactic to distract her and pull her attention away from his past worked. Yuffie slouches against the deck resting her shoulder on Reno's leg as she shifts to look up at the bright blue above.

She's really bored.]

Probably the same stuff on the other continent. It'll just look different. Same people, jerks and merhcants.

[Yuffie feels like it's the same everywhere. Different faces but similar people, similar goals and similar problems.]

[Reno glanced down with some residual surprise, but a soft smile returned soon enough. Yuffie had warmed up to him incredibly quickly, considering their past history, and her small gestures of affection were actually kind of cute. She wasn't trying to get him naked or use him for something, she wasn't asking for anything. She was just Yuffie. And it was nice.]

[He hummed a short laugh.]

Jerks an' merchants, huh? Sounds crappy -- why go?

Because it's new!

[Yuffie emphasized the last word as if it was the most important thing ever. Her eyes widen and her fingers in her hand spread out as if pulling away an invisible curtain in the air in front of her.

She isn't sure the reason why she wasn't annoyed at Reno like everyone else. She knew even less about him or his past and she found that she just didn't care anymore. It was someone from Gaia she knew and when they first met she had been lacking in friends from home.]

So, new jerks and new merchants. Got it.

[Reno nodded sagely, clearly teasing in how "serious" he was taking it.]

But yeah, I get it. Break up the routine, get outta the city, see somethin' at least a little different. I heard there might not even be humans there.

[He wasn't sure if it was true, but what a sight that would be.]

[Yuffie raised an eyebrow.]

Well we are probably gonna get in trouble then.

[She knows first hand that people or organizations don't like changes or new things. People are blind to what they don't want to see.]

I'm gonna nap until we get there wake me when the airship docks.

[Without asking she leans against Reno, gets comfortable and closes her eyes.]
