When: Starting from the 18th of November.
Summary: The first trip to the Continent of Ruins is finally happening! The Heroes of Light, the Enterprise Crew, Cid and O'aka are all onboard for the trip. What will the Heroes of Light find there? [Zelda shakes her head feeling a pang of curiosity and nervousness in her chest.]

I wish I knew.

[She's sure that if they stay long enough they might be able to learn more but they don't really have the time. They are here for a few days and then they will be riding back towards their home. It's strange that they woke up in Aqures and not here and Zelda's wondering why all this has happened.

Of course vague questions doesn't get them anywhere.]

Yeah. I'm not sure they'll tell us much of what we'd want to know.

[Cloud's mostly been getting a lot of looks like a child wandering around where the adults are trying to get work done. It has as much with him being an outsider as being a human among all the Elezen.

The young Hero is well aware of this though and he rubs the back of his neck in his uncertainty.]

Maybe we'll have better luck if we look around together?

By the way, how were things with the Sage? I was with Levy and the other Fairy Tail members when you were all inside.

It was... interesting.

[Zelda gestures with a way indicating that Cloud is welcome to follow her. She isn't planning to be intrusive but she does want to wander around a little bit more. It's an amazing place and seeing everything they've focused on here is amazing.]

The Sage knows a lot but there is a lot that he isn't telling us.

[She doesn't know if it's wise to talk about on the crowded streets.]

[Cloud frowns. He heard a little about the Sage from others, that he knew things about them that put him on par with Kalki. But he was hoping they'd finally get some straight answers.]

Right...of course not.

[He looks up and down the street, watching the scientists and technicians come and go.]

So...what should we do?

[Zelda laughs, in truth she doesn't know but she decides to head into the nearest building. She checks with someone walking by to make sure it's open to the public before they walk future inside.

Most of the experiments are low key and some look like little machines, much like the engineering job while others are examining elemental crystals that can be found when fighting. There is a loud explosion in one of the rooms and it's safe to say they were doing something with the red crystal.]

They are probably to busy to explain.

[Commented Zelda sadly as someone rushed by to get away from the small fire that's started. A grumpy black mage comes over and puts out the fire before yelling at the idiot who started it.]

[Cloud blinks in surprise as he sees the panic over the fire. The blonde flashes back to his first days in the ShinRa military and how his commander was yelling at everyone. Cloud got the brunt of it on some of the rifle training. He feels bad for the poor researcher.]

Probably. And us being outsiders probably doesn't help much either.

[Looking around Cloud definitely feels out of place. All this science is way above his skill level. He's more the guy you put the finished device in the hands of and tell him who to shoot at.]

I was hoping I could maybe find something to make my Magitek Knight job stronger. I still need to get a riding armor of my own too.

[Zelda turns to get out of the way of the frantic researchers. She looks at Cloud curiously before guiding them both away from the building.]

There isn't a war here Cloud. [She looks up at the sky feeling the bite of cold against her nose.] There might not be instruments of war here.

[She also has no wish for such things to arrive here.]

I guess you're right. They've been lucky enough to keep out of everything. Even if their temple has the history of the last cycle.

[He sighs and shakes his head.]

Maybe it's because I'm a soldier that I think of that kind of stuff first.

[Zelda’s home is relatively peaceful. It’s been that way through most of her life. They prepare to defend themselves and they have teachings they pass through generations but they don’t seek out war. There is nothing to fight over since everything is shared.

Everyone on Skyloft is like Zelda’s family.

This world isn’t like that, Hyrule isn’t like that. As long as darkness swells in man’s heart there will always be war and death to follow. Zelda shakes her head saddened by Clouds admittance.]

I suppose so. I’d like to think that we don’t have to resort to that way of thinking.

[It’s really just wishful thinking on Zelda’s part but she can’t help but this that it’s a little sad. They just arrived to a new place and the search is for weapons?]

[It's more Zelda's tone than her words that hit Cloud. He suddenly feels overwhelmingly guilty that his thoughts are going that way.]

Yeah...I guess...I mean...

[Even if Cloud's intent is to arm himself to protect rather than to wage an assault, he still came to this quarter looking for a weapon before any other potential sort of scientific discovery.]

We need to be able to do something if the Empire attacks again. Especially if they have the Ultima Weapon again.

I know.

[Zelda nods before looking up at Cloud with a warm smile.]

I should thank you for always fighting. [She's already determined to start fighting again but it's still difficult for her.]

Shall we go look somewhere else?

[ooc: end here? hand wave walking around? unless you have specific ideas?]

[Cloud nods at the thanks, but he's not sure if he should feel happy about it now. Still, fighting is what he's good at. If Zelda needs to be defended then he'll do what he has to in order to keep her safe.]

Sure. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular but maybe we'll find something interesting. Or have you been to the arcade yet? They have some really cool games there!
