It seems like two sets of life have been living on this world, completely separated from each other until now. I do wonder why that might be the case.
[There could be good reasons for it, after all. The most common reason for species to be segregated from each other might be...that they each posed some sort of risk to each other. Sephiroth's expression darkens a little as he considers the consequences of that.
Briefly he glances back to K'pandolu again as she mentions the Pyramid. Then turns back to the landscape to inspect it more, or at least, what they can see of it from still being in the air. It must be huge on the ground-]
I can't say that I have. But it must have taken great coordination to erect such a structure. A cohesive society. What remains to be seen is if that society is still in existence, or not.
[As they were steered closer, it looks like the City had been much bigger in the past as well, being as there seemed to be a great area just outside which looked to be in ruin.]
What do you think?

Perhaps we'll be able to find some clues when we're down there.
[that said, she's not much of an expert in sociology. Still, it's a curious puzzle- one she wouldn't mind trying to solve, if she can.
She leans a little closer to the window, ears perked.]
Well- at a glance, it looks as though the city's alive. But considering those ruins- I suspect we won't be meeting the original inhabitants. [even accounting for, you know, time and generations passing on.]

Sephiroth drifts off into silence as he sweeps keen eyes over the scenery before them that's approaching as they come in to land. He doesn't turn to look over K'pandolu again in the meantime, but could have imagined how her ears perked up. He's hardly an expert in sociology versus his other more combat-associated talents but some subjects had formed an integral part of his own education.
He's hardly brawn with no brains, after all.]
I'd say that's a fairly safe bet. I wonder how they might marry up to what we've managed to read elsewhere.
[He's read all sorts of stories over his extensive tenure in Crystallis, perhaps now they might start to be able to join the dots a little.]
