Little dove sitting on her own

Characters: Kobato Hanato and Anyone.
Where: Aqures Ixen.
When: 6th November
Summary: Kobato is still feeling down in the dumps about her part in what happened days past.
Warning: No warnings.

Kobato had currently spent most of her time keeping to herself and trying to bottle up how she felt inside. But it always had a way of showing itself, so she did the next best thing. She tried to keep away from those she cared about. Those she considered friends in her mind. She even tried to avoid those who were new but she didn't seem to get by with that.

She soon found herself near the fire crystal once more as she quietly went to sit down away from everyone. For now all she wanted to do was be alone and try and think of ways to help people in her way to say sorry. If anyone spots her and comes over they'd notice she was alone and her moogle wasn't even around. She really was all alone for the moment.

"Yeah. Hope it hasn't seemed like I was avoiding you or anything." she says moving her hand to her hip instead.

"So, what's got you over here all by yourself. You seemed more like the social butterfly to me." She's not blind. She can tell she's a bit down, but, perhaps the contrasting cheer, and upbeat curiosity, can even the two of them out.

"After what happened, huh?" And that was her cue to pry into the poor girl's sadness and hope to help sort through it, or at least help her feel better.

"But... if you'd rather not talk about it, that's fine too. But you don't have to sit there and keep it all to yourself."

She nods, silently.

"I do but..." Nobody held her responsible, but... how many others would tell her that later? yesterday? tomorrow?

"You know, that's the great thing about really good friends. No matter what you end up doing... a real friend will always be there for you. Even if you do something really bad." she says, recalling some of her own experiences. "Sure, they might have to beat you up a little but... even that's for the better sometimes." she says, dropping her knuckles gently on the girl's head.

Allenby couldn't explain that without being asked, but undoubtedly she had been 'there', in that situation. And saved, no less.

"Because you need to snap out of your little funk. And I can't well punch you." she grins. "Like I said, even if someone does something bad, even when they don't want to, friends WILL be there for them. So don't worry okay? You'll always have your friends."

"Why someone would do something bad? Well... maybe someone like their family or someone they love is in trouble, and to save them, they think the only thing they can do is something bad, like steal money. Or... well, in my case, you just lose control of yourself because someone messes with your head, and you just keep attacking your friends, until they beat you up a little and snap you out of it."

Her speech kind of came full circle finally, where she'd started finally telling what she'd meant.

"And that's okay. You clearly weren't in your right mind, which is why nobody is faulting for what happened." she reassures. "I know you feel bad about it but, it's not your fault so don't you worry, okay?"

This time instead of bopping her on the head, she gives her a reassuring hug from the side, pulling on one shoulder. "So how about instead of that we go get something sweet, yeah?" She might be an expert in fighting, but she's still a girl.
