Little dove sitting on her own
Characters: Kobato Hanato and Anyone.
Where: Aqures Ixen.
When: 6th November
Summary: Kobato is still feeling down in the dumps about her part in what happened days past.
Warning: No warnings.
Kobato had currently spent most of her time keeping to herself and trying to bottle up how she felt inside. But it always had a way of showing itself, so she did the next best thing. She tried to keep away from those she cared about. Those she considered friends in her mind. She even tried to avoid those who were new but she didn't seem to get by with that.
She soon found herself near the fire crystal once more as she quietly went to sit down away from everyone. For now all she wanted to do was be alone and try and think of ways to help people in her way to say sorry. If anyone spots her and comes over they'd notice she was alone and her moogle wasn't even around. She really was all alone for the moment.

"Yeah. It could have been me instead of you. Or anyone else. It's not like you chose to do it, right? How have you been feeling since then?"
no subject
"I see... I guess that is true." She had never really thought about that until now she had to admit.

Cloud took a seat next to Kobato, quiet for the moment and in no rush to break the silence but he still had questions. "So...uh...what do you remember from what happened? I'm still not clear on what that moogle convinced you all to do." He wasn't upset at anyone except the moogle that caused it, but he still wanted to know WHY Tifa felt compelled to try to kill him.

She knew that now anyway. It still didn't make her feel better, but saying it outloud helped a little bit.

"The truth is a tricky thing, especially when you feel it in your heart. You just wanted to try to help all of us though, right?"
no subject
"I wanted to... But it seems I can never be helpful."

"I know a lot of people say 'try your best and that's enough' or 'keep trying and you'll get better' but there's no shame in admitting you're not good at something. Sometimes you need to be able to say that to yourself before you can find a new path. What is it you've been trying to do?"
no subject
"I honestly don't know... I... just want to help, but I don't know how or even what I could do."
no subject
"All I can suggest is to do your best and stay true to yourself. I've heard my friend Zack say something that his own teacher told him. 'Embrace your dreams'. Do what you can and believe in yourself. Everything else will follow."

So with a small smile she looked on over at the other. "Embrace your dreams... I think I can do that." She gave a small chuckle before looking over her should for a moment. She guessed it was starting to get dark so she could really think about heading off.
"It was very nice talking to you. You helped me a lot."

That moogle did this. Not just for Tifa and Sephiroth, but Kobato and the others too. He wasn't sure why, but the idea that someone just toyed with their memories and emotions just stung him worse than he expected. He couldn't just let this stand.

Giving a small bow, she was grateful as she stood up. "I hope to see you around." And with that she headed off.
