Love Springs Eternal (??)

Who: ERRYBODY
What: It's Valentine's Day, and there are matchmaking notices everywhere. Here's an open log for one and all to post their shenanigans, meet ups, freak outs, and whatever else they're going to do about this.
When: forward dated to Feb. 14
Where: All over Aqures Ixen
Warnings: Ridiculousness.

[Plastering the city are notices matching up all of the Heroes of Light with one another, both the best and the worst. Moogles are having a grand old time handing them out and hanging them up, and are encouraging Heroes to speak with their top matches.

Naturally, reactions to this are mixed. Some Heroes are intrigued, some annoyed, some offended. Despite their feelings or misgivings, the rest of the city is still celebrating Valentine's Day as well, and now the thoughts of love are everywhere.

"It's probably just an error." This whole thing was probably just some error though even saying that aloud didn't stop the red tint to Yuffie's cheeks. Clearly Ramza was handling this better than she was.

She glanced over at his results and noting that her name was first but his highest percentage didn't make much sense. Unless the moogles were just being mean. She didn't really know what happened in those fluffy heads.

"Or the inverse?"

She had no idea why his numbers were like that.

Ramza shrugged. He did not know how to reconcile the two sets of numbers. He was no arithmetician.

"Or perhaps the moogles have some quarrel with me I had not realized. They cannot suppose this to be the truth," he said, gesturing with the crumpled flier. Surely all who knew them were aware of his affection for Yuffie, his friendship with Cloud, Riaylnn, and Yuna.

Yuffie gave Ramza a curiously look. "I don't think anyone would have a quarrel with you Ramza. I'm pretty sure you're the nicest guy I know." Not that that say very much if Yuffie were to start recounting the men that she knows.

Not all of the results made sense so the fact that he had names of people he knew on his results was at least a plus. That's almost looking at the bright side.

"Do you really think that?" He felt a little flush with Yuffie's praise. The princess's good opinion meant more than the moogles' strangely computed numbers. For the first time since he had read the flier, he smiled.

Yuffie's cheeks were dusted with a light pink after seeing Ramza flush. She hadn't meant to have that effect but she did mean what she said. Yuffie always said whatever was on her mind and her words now were no exception.

"Of course!" Her smile widened as if that might banish any awkwardness between them.

"You're always trying hard and helping out your friends. You're pretty great." Her smile turned into a sheepish grin. "Maybe one day I can be like that too." At least that's what she's currently aiming for.
