What: It's Valentine's Day, and there are matchmaking notices everywhere. Here's an open log for one and all to post their shenanigans, meet ups, freak outs, and whatever else they're going to do about this.
When: forward dated to Feb. 14
Where: All over Aqures Ixen
Warnings: Ridiculousness.

[Plastering the city are notices matching up all of the Heroes of Light with one another, both the best and the worst. Moogles are having a grand old time handing them out and hanging them up, and are encouraging Heroes to speak with their top matches.

Naturally, reactions to this are mixed. Some Heroes are intrigued, some annoyed, some offended. Despite their feelings or misgivings, the rest of the city is still celebrating Valentine's Day as well, and now the thoughts of love are everywhere.

They are putting up matchmaking results... for all the heroes.

[She assumes that he doesn't know.]

You're up there too I'm sure.

[Matchmaking. ...Wait, matchmaking?! Not sure if he wants to take a closer look, Ichigo steps over to actually read what the flyers say. Sure enough they're matchmaking results but not for fighting. They're for--]

Wh-What the hell?!

[Sure enough there's one for him. He didn't remember agreeing to this or being asked about this sort of thing. He snatches the flyer from the wall and looks at it in disbelief.]

...Are some of these guys names?!

[Moshishi spots the shock of orange hair and fluttters over quickly. Finally! He thought he'd never find him and he was getting tired. At least now he can-...oh.]

[Yuffie just watches as it dawns on him.]

Looks like they think you're gay.

[She isn't one to judge but she might be curious to see what the orange haired boy says to that.]

[He just stares at the flyer in his hand, an eyebrow ticking with an angry blush. There are definitely both girls and guy names on it. He's never had any reason to think about liking anyone like... that. But he doesn't--... It's not like he--... He never agreed to this! And worse if Yuffie's right they're posted all over the city. He crumples up the flyer in both his hands but it doesn't make the flush on his face lessen. The last thing he needs is for Raven and Yuri to get a hold of these!]

...W-Whatever! I don't believe in this crap anyway but who thought it was okay to post this everywhere?!

[Moshishi looks at the letter in his paw, unsure if he should give it to him and decides to keep it for now. It looks like Ichigo will just end up throwing it out anyway.]

It's not all bad, kupo..! Besides, isn't it a little fun? Some of the Heroes look like they're enjoying this.

[Yuffie raised an eyebrow at the moogle.]

Fun? Really?

[She doesn't like this one bit, more so considering her ex had turned evil in the weird future vision she had been given. It just makes things complicated and reminds her that she's currently on her own as far as love goes. Not that Yuffie is about to admit that she cares.]

Are you one of the moogles who did this?

Did you even ask anyone if they wanted to do this?

[Ichigo is not impressed, doubly so when his moogle companion jolts a bit in surprise at the accusation. Is that guilt he sees? Is it?!]

K-Kupo,I didn't have anything to do with this..! Not... not directly but all of you work really hard to keep us safe. And some of us thought that maybe you could use a break from it for a little while...

[Yuffie rolls her eyes.]

Having people butt into our affairs isn't helping.

[She finds another with her results and tears it down from the wall.]

I've been at this all day and they just keep appearing.

[She's exhausted.]

...K-Kupo, I think some of the others got a little overenthusiastic about this... It's not like it means anything though..!

[Ichigo lets out an annoyed breath, rubbing the back of his neck. He can think of another moogle who would love participating in spreading the flyers around. This is ridiculous.]

Even if you guys meant well just quit putting them up everywhere.

[Yuffie rolled her eyes feeling her temper flare. She's been trying to keep things in; to keep herself under some sort of semblance of control but this... this just sucks.]

It's mean.

[She states simply at the moogle.]

You guys are just being mean.

[Yuffie releases a sigh suddenly looking really tired and a little older.]

The moogles did this last year too. I don't understand why.

[Moshishi looks a bit more guilty at that. While he may not have had anything to do with it directly he knows the others had used the machine for the pairing results before. It was only meant to be for fun... Maybe he should try to help removing some of the flyers if some of the Heroes really feel like that...]

[Ichigo gives the result flyers on the wall another sour look before shifting his gaze back to Yuffie.]

Last year?

[Yuffie nods.]

Last year they set up all the heroes on dates.

[She doesn't even remember the day very well but she remembers Mooshoo telling her more about it. She looks over at Ichigo curiously.]

I guess it has to do with the legend of the hero around this time. They think they can reunite the god and the hero or... something

... A legend? That's no excuse to try to set people up like that. They can make their own decisions about that sort of thing instead of having it publicly displayed everywhere.

[Yuffie lets out a slow sigh. It's been super lonely as of late.]

Well, you didn't have to deal with it last year... technically neither did I.

[because she'd been kidnapped.]

Man, if these things are seriously everywhere... think all we can do is ignore it.

[It isn't ideal and he's not at all happy with seeing them everywhere. ...Even worse if the wrong people find them but he can't think about that. It's likely too late anyway.]

They'll eventually get bored and stop. It's just like those stupid tests they have in magazines--they don't mean anything.

I guess so..

[Yuffie appears to be calming down though it's obvious these flyers hit a nerve. She doesn't look at Ichigo but continues talking in a more depressed, more resigned tone.]

It's just pouring salt into the wound really... I should ignore it but they're everywhere. Maybe I'll go hold myself up in my room for the next few days.

[Vinent or Mooshoo might bring her food if she asks.]

[Salt in the wound? Sure the flyers were a little much but they're just pieces of paper. With really, really annoying results on them. ...Really annoying.]

You could but I don't think it would do anything. Someone's bound to show up to punch you upside the head and tell you to get over it or something like that.

[Yuffie looks over at Ichigo.]

I doubt it... you know, wait... you weren't here. You don't even know what I'm talking about.

[She exhales.]

Well, whatever. Imma go do that and see if you're right.

I probably don't but you don't look like you want to bring it up.

But if your friends aren't able to show up then send me a letter and I will.

[Yes, he's saying that offer with a straight face. He's serious and it sounds completely like a normal thing to say.]

I won't punch you unless you're acting like a dumbass though.

[She's happy for his offer but she probably won't call him. No one really knows what happened last Valentine's day, no one except the other three with her. It had been the most painful month of her life and it isn't the sort of thing she randomly shares with others. She doesn't really want their pity or that stupid sad look they get when she brings it up.]
