Love Springs Eternal (??)

Who: ERRYBODY
What: It's Valentine's Day, and there are matchmaking notices everywhere. Here's an open log for one and all to post their shenanigans, meet ups, freak outs, and whatever else they're going to do about this.
When: forward dated to Feb. 14
Where: All over Aqures Ixen
Warnings: Ridiculousness.

[Plastering the city are notices matching up all of the Heroes of Light with one another, both the best and the worst. Moogles are having a grand old time handing them out and hanging them up, and are encouraging Heroes to speak with their top matches.

Naturally, reactions to this are mixed. Some Heroes are intrigued, some annoyed, some offended. Despite their feelings or misgivings, the rest of the city is still celebrating Valentine's Day as well, and now the thoughts of love are everywhere.

Ramza nodded. "Or use them for kindling for our fires," he muttered, not wanting his terrible results preserved in whatever form K'pandolu reshaped them into. She could fold her results, if they were more favorable than his.

She still felt as though they were doing the moogles an unearned favour, but she couldn't deny Ramza's feelings on the matter. She glanced at him, one ear twitching inside the hat. "As you will," she said, by way of agreement, and turned to tug out one of the fliers of her own results, holding it in front of her. "I… would hope it is some reassurance that whatever measurements they might have taken did turn out well with others."

Ramza glanced at the proffered paper, noting the logical distribution of numbers before the names on the sheet really registered. When it did, he blinked, then flushed red.

"Oh...I did not realize...ummm..." He was not sure what to make of the results. Did they mean anything? Did K'pandolu expect them to?

She offered him a bright smile, tail curling up with some embarrassment. She'd never really given much thought to her own prospects, so there wasn't anything she expected. But- she wanted to help, however she could.

She folded the paper up and tucked it away for the moment. "This flier may be somewhat presumptuous, but I think of you as a good friend, Ramza," she said. "And regardless of what the moogles may think- I believe that you are just as deserving of love and affection as any of us. I'd be honoured to spend time with you- on today or any other day."

Ramza nodded frantically. "Good. That is...good. I am glad." He could handle friendship. His rapid heartbeat slowed back to normal speed.

"I...I still plan on taking these down," he said, because honesty was the best policy. "I can leave yours up if you'd prefer it."

K'pandolu nodded, ears flicking up for a moment. If that was what was going to make him most comfortable, of course he should. "No, I think I'll see if I can't make something better out of them. What about the rest?"

He shrugged. "I suppose I'll take them down as well. If they want them, their owners can collect them. It is not as though they have not received a copy of their results, and they might not wish them shared with others."

That seemed safer than leaving them up for each Hero to be responsible for their own.

She nodded, tucking her hands behind her for a moment. "I'm sure they'll appreciate that. You're a good person for doing this, Ramza. If you'd like, I could bring you a treat in a few bells." She winked and grinned. There ought to be enough chocolates for the day- from her own booth and other shops- that she could get away with doing that.

"That is most kind. I thank you." Ramza gave K'pandolu a smile. He did not eat many sweets, but the occasional treat was always welcome.

"It's the least I could do!" She beamed at him in return, tail curling. "Until then."
