Love Springs Eternal (??)

What: It's Valentine's Day, and there are matchmaking notices everywhere. Here's an open log for one and all to post their shenanigans, meet ups, freak outs, and whatever else they're going to do about this.
When: forward dated to Feb. 14
Where: All over Aqures Ixen
Warnings: Ridiculousness.

[Plastering the city are notices matching up all of the Heroes of Light with one another, both the best and the worst. Moogles are having a grand old time handing them out and hanging them up, and are encouraging Heroes to speak with their top matches.

Naturally, reactions to this are mixed. Some Heroes are intrigued, some annoyed, some offended. Despite their feelings or misgivings, the rest of the city is still celebrating Valentine's Day as well, and now the thoughts of love are everywhere.

[Albel's stunned look returned to the paper.]

I'm more confused than anything else. What is this even supposed to mean? Best match, worst match? Sparring partners, or travelling companions...?

[The hearts really perplexed him. Because certainly it couldn't be... that.]

You sure you didn't get one?

I'm fairly certain. I don't much read anyway.

And they mean best match for bedmates, you know? [ Logen makes a suggestive gesture with his hands. ]

[Albel choked, coughed and sputtered. The lewd gesture didn't help matters, either. His face quickly took on a redder hue.]

You, you can't be serious! This??

[He shook the paper in the air to illustrate his incredulity at the notion.]

Not sure if I'm, serious or drunk, but yes. It's only what moogles think anyway.

[He stared at the offending paper again. It really was for romance. Albel hadn't wanted to believe it, but it was the only way the hearts made sense. Having both Terra and Sheena on there, and on opposites ends of the spectrum, was complicated. Having Sephiroth rank even higher was worse.]

[Having Johnny, of all people, rank highest was offensive.]

Moogles! Worms! What do they know? Pairing me with that... that... fool!

[He had half a mind to find Johnny right now and pick a fight, as if it were Johnny's fault.]

What fool are you talking about?

[wickedone]

Johnny, of course! That ignorant maggot!

[As if it should have been obvious to everyone. Except, apparently, Yuna -- Albel had some feelings about that, too.]

If this is a joke, it is in extremely poor taste!

[ Logen's eyes narrow. And then he lunges at Albel, looking to strangle him. ]

You don't talk that way about my friend!

[wickedone]

[Well. That escalated quickly. Startled, Albel dropped the paper and disappeared in a cloud of Smoke Bomb, reappearing behind Logen with katana drawn.]

Are you insane?

[He grit his teeth and gripped the blade firmly, ready to fight if necessary. He was justified in defending himself.]

You have an idiot friend! But perhaps you are just like he is!
