Summary: The Heroes of Light have lost consciousness and now find themselves in the middle of nowhere, without their Moogles and away from everything they know. Sure thing! I'll whistle if I spot trouble!

[Saori continued her way up, pausing now and then to look around. The higher she went, the less she seemed to know where they were. She hadn't been traveling outside of the cities much but she knew the area around Aqures Ixen fairly well.

What bothered Saori even more was the possibility they weren't the only ones who got dropped into random locations. Without their moogles, not only was the possibility of changing jobs unavailable, they had no means of long distance communications. She only hoped getting above the treeline would provide some answers at least.]

[Yugi kept quiet as he wondered, trying his best to see if he could find something for food or an idea of where they actually were because he was sure he had little to no idea himself, which started to worry him a little bit as it mean they had no clue how long it would take to get back to the city. It could be days, weeks maybe.]

Anyone found anything, yet?

[He had gone to take a closer look at the trees, mostly to see if they could perhaps be the kind that grew fruits, even if he doubted it.]

[Kidd returns after a short time, leaning down to rest her hands on her knees as she recovers from the strain of the rapid teleport jumps. Her eyes drift up to the top of the tree in search of Saori, partially to see if she's found anything and also to make sure that their little group hasn't been split up any further.

Once collected, she looks to Hinata and Yugi.]

I didn't see anyone or any signs of settlements. By the look of things we're out in the wilds. If we want to go looking then the best bet is to follow the river. Either direction will probably take us to people.

[That is, assuming there WERE any people in this part of the world. Or at all.]

Then... let's try doing that, then. Should we go up or down the river?

[Saori spent a good minute scanning above the treeline and shook her head. Eagle Vision marked where her allies where and there was another bright colored object in the distance. The shape was vaguely like a chocobo. It was there for that second before it trotted away from her. Now she had a bigger problem: getting down. There weren't any convenient piles of hay or foliage around to use as a landing for the good old leap of faith. Guess she'll have to do it the old fashioned way.]

Upstream would probably take us near mountains. Downstream might take us south I'm not sure if that's a direction we should go. At least we won't have to worry about water for now. Looks like there's no end to the forest though.

[She glanced over her shoulder, activating Eagle Vision again.]

Even up to the top was thick with trees but I heard some rustling and maybe saw a chocobo in that forest.

[A chocobo, maybe? Yugi was pausing over what to do, they had two directions mountains or south. As he thought about it south would be better than having to climb mountains.]

So...Should we go south? Or through the forest?

[Mary crosses her arms as she thinks things through.]

If we go downstream then it should take us to the ocean, or at least some large body of water. And with that you can probably count on a settlement. But if we don't know how far it is then there's no harm in trying to catch ourselves a chocobo here. As long as we don't get ourselves lost in the forest, at least.
