[Bonnie leans back a bit as she listens to Tamekichi talking to her. She's not entirely sure what he's on about. In fact her mind was elsewhere when he started and now she's just trying to nod her way out of the situation. Sadly her own thoughts on how to escape are a bit more violent than would be excusable in this situation, and she doesn't have any smokebombs on her either. So much for that Assassin training.

Left with no other options, she continues to nibble on her kupo nut, hoping that he finishes soon so that she can be on her way.

....he better not ask for a kupo nut too!]

...so that's why Moromoro was right about he future of Mognet. [Tamekichi finishes his long-winded lecture on basic philosophy and sociology. Chicks dig deep thinkers, right?]

So. [He holds his sunglasses by the handle and pushes them up.] Got any plans for today?

[Bonnie lasted the longest with him. This is his best chance for a date so far.]

[She was hoping to hang around the festival a bit longer, but not if that means him tagging along with her and just telling her more and more about mognet history. She enjoys her duties as a mail moogle but it's not her life's passion by any means.]

Ummmmm, actually, I was planning to go training, kupo. I'm training with Mary's Assassins, kupo. Lots of running and jumping, physical activity, very strenuous, kupo.

[Here's hoping that Tamekichi lives up to normal levels of moogle laziness.]

[Tamekichi rolls his head lazily until he's angled so that he looks over the top of his sunglasses at Bonnie. His eyes are lidded and his mouth half-open.]

What, seriously? Don't tell me you're skipping out on a vacation day...

[Bonnie is split between being put off by the look on Tamekichi's face and being offended at not taking seriously. The end result is she completely forgets to make her departure when she has the chance.]

What's wrong with battle practice on my vacation time? If I'm going to help the Heroes fight Palitutu and the Ultima Weapon then I need to be in tip top shape, kupo!

We're Moogles, we don't fight. [He pulls his head up and frowns.] Isn't dragging mail all over the world hard enough?

[Bonnie is a strange Moogle. But she's interesting.]

What's you plan for fighting the Ultima Weapon, kupo~?

We can fight if we want, kupo. It may not be easy but we can do it if we put our mind to it. There was even a moogle Hero kupo!

[Mogleo had been part of that other group of Heroes that had made the long journey over the past year. The Pomsguard left quite the impression on the Assassin in training.

Now that the conversation has drifted to areas of her own interest, she's completely forgotten about her desire to leave.]

Welllll. I'd find a nice hiding spot. I'd wait for the perfect chance to strike, and then I'd jump out and stab it in it's weak spot, kupo!

[Easy as that!]

[...That silent response can't be good.]

...What weak spot?

[Tamekichi sees 99 problems with that plan, and having the strength of a Moogle is one of them.]

Well it HAS to have a weak spot, kupo. Everything has a place you can hit it that will take it down faster. That's what Mary said. It's probably a big red glowy thing, kupo!

[Granted, Mary was more specifically talking about takedown techniques on human targets.]

[Tamekichi folds his arms and thinks. The Ultima WEAPON might glow red at points, but he's sure it's because it's a robot. No monster ever glows red when it's weak.]

You really think that Tarutaru would let a Moogle hit it that easy, kupo? [He still doesn't believe it.]

[Bonnie brings her paws to her mouth and giggles.]

That's just it! She'll never see it coming, kupo!

Riiiight.

[Sweet, innocent Bonnie. She could use a tough man like Tamekichi to keep her safe.]

Listen, I know you're nervous, but you gotta relax. [He puts a paw on her shoulder.] So how about we hang out here a bit longer?

[Bonnie pauses, glancing at the paw on her shoulder. She then spins in the air, deftly pulling away from the touch while making it look like she's just prancing about as moogles are wont to do.]

Mmmm, I dunno, kupo. What else is there to do?

[All the exhibits were nice but some were going over her head. That big machine looked pretty interesting though. And so did the moogle blitz team. But what she really wanted to do was meet some fellow moogle fighters.

She missed Mogleo, kupo.]

[O ho ho ho! Tamekichi grins and leans on that paw.]

There's the garden, kupo. You got alll the carnival games you can play. I can win a stuffed toy for you if you'd like.

[He's going to win it, because he's that good and cool, and impressing a girl is the best motivation.]

What about the waterpark? No better way to have fun than getting wet, am I right?

The waterpark? I don't wanna get my fur all soggy, kupo!

[What a weirdo.

She sighs and looks around. She doesn't really like this attention that Tamekichi is doting on her but she doesn't want to leave the festival because of him either.

Before she can suggest an alternative her little tummy rumbles.]

Mnnnn, maybe the food stands...But this isn't a date, kupo!

Sure, sure...

[Its totally a date.]

Don't care if it's the waterpark or the stalls, as long as you're relaxing, I'm happy.

[If it were visible behind the sunglasses, Bonnie would see him wink. Tamekichi holds out a paw.]

Let's get this show on the road.

[Bonnie glances at the paw. A quick glance at the sunglasses and then back to the paw...Instead of taking it she gives him a high five and flutters off. He'll have to live with that.

Besides, there's a different moogle she has her little heart set on.]

Come on, let's go before everyone else eats all the good stuff, kupo~

[Never before has a high five caused someone's spirits to crumble. The symbol of friendship, of awesome feelings...now a tool of heartbreak. Tamekichi holds in his disappointment behind tight lips and clenches his paw. No. No, he cannot run away like a loser. He will power through.

With the manliest frown he can muster, Tamekichi turns around towards the road Bonnie is flying towards. He flutters after her, thoughts of fried Kupo Nuts keeping his day from getting worse.]
