[Kidd smirks at the thought. She recalls what Saori told her about their world's future. It's a bit hard to imagine the craft but she can be sure she agrees with Ed's words. Being in the air and in such an enclosed space. No matter how safe it may make the flight, she'd prefer the open air.]

Perhaps. But it's the things that were made by the Ancients that have been causing us the most trouble. My own world suffered from similar troubles. Wars and battles being waged over the Pieces of Eden left behind.

[Clutching the rope she leans a little further out over the edge.]

At least up here I can pretend that the world is at peace for a little while.

Wars and battles my world's got plenty of. Not sure about any pieces of Eden though. Sounds dangerous in name alone. I guess we've got plenty of other dangerous things to make up for it, though.

[He lets out a cleansing sigh and takes a sip of his drink, thinking.]

I'll worry about problems on my own world if I ever end up back there. For now, I'd like to tackle the ones right in front of me, though they're really starting to stack up.

Way I've seen it, exploring this world and talking to you all, seems there's a lot in common, even if the names are different. Can't say why it is, maybe it's just the way the universe bends.

[But the occurrence of ancient races leaving behind troubling technology is still a bit disturbing. Didn't any of them learn from their mistakes before they were annihilated by them?]

Aye. Seems if we have one thing going for us it's that those other troubles will wait for us. Still, best to take care not to be blindsided by them when they do show up again.

[Her eyes narrow as she looks out over the horizon.]

Just hope they have the decency to wait until we're done with this set. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Though, if all goes well... I plan to stay here anyway. Even with the end of the world looming, my problems here are a lot easier in comparison to back home. I don't know if that's an option yet, but if it is...
