[Johnny actually considers that, mulling it over. He'd been getting a lot more into cooking lately, mostly stemming from living by himself so much. And now there was someone else in the house to cook for again.]

That's not a half bad idea. I ain't much of a cook, but I might be able to help, too. Um, once I'm done eatin' all of this first.

Of course! I was actually thinking the same thing. I haven't had some of these food in a long time and there's still some I haven't tried yet. After that, I'll see if I can convince them to let us help.

Maybe I could learn a thing or two from 'em. Been doin' a lotta cooking since I got here. Mostly cuz I've had to. Back in Exsilium, Blaine did all the cooking, though he did force me into learnin' some. Guess I'm glad for that now.

Cooking is one of those things I think everyone has to try. It'll make you appreciate the food and the effort put into it even more. Hands-on training is best no matter what sort of food you make.

[She pauses to grab some food from the closest stand. It would've been hard to see what exactly she ordered since it's under a mountain of sliced pickled peppers. ]

I had to learn since I was eight because I wanted to help out my grandma since she had to take care of me and my little brother.

[He won't mention that back in his original home, his mom did the cooking... until they moved in with his stepdad and they had a cook most of the time. He never had to learn, and never really wanted to.]

I guess I got a late start, then. But better late than never. Maybe I can swipe some recipes or somethin' from ya sometime.
