Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

"About what happened. The heroes were victorious against the Weapon - though this idiot got himself killed - but Palitutu decided she wasn't done yet. The woman obviously is getting to the point where someone is going to kill her less out of revenge and more out of total frustration." Deadmoog said, stopping and fluttering in front of Lydia.

"She activated a portal and told us to find her in 30 days or she's... going to do something. I have no idea what she has planned because, again, the woman does not like to reveal anything and, again, she's going to get killed out of frustration."

Lydia is not at all surprised that Deadpool got himself killed; she's at least heard and seen enough to expect it. She's also not surprised that people are out for Palitutu's blood. She'd be out for it too, if she were more of a violent person.

"Thank you." Dark eyes flicker to Deadpool after Deadmoog explains, then back to the moogle. "I take it that's when we were all drawn into the black hole thing, and then we got brought here?"

Taking a deep breath in and out, BP relaxed his hold on her as he felt her calming down a bit. Turning her attention back to Deadpool properly. "As far as I can tell, we're not dead though. If we are, we're not in any land of the dead I recognize."

[Sparks actually takes the hit, but has to hold himself from hitting back someone half his age.]

Dangit-- There, did ya get it outta yer system? Did that help solve all yer problems?

I-- I just told it like it was. Besides, I was talkin' about, like, everyone. Like all the people on all planets. Not just us.

[He refuses to feel bad about this. Or at least he refuses to act like he does.]

Yeah. Of all the times for someone to listen, right?

[Sparks's shoulders slumped, but he still tried to act cool.]

I was referring to, like, everyone in existence, you know? Not just us. Guess gods ain't as omniscient as they think they are.

Okay, Twilight, you're gonna have one very happy human hugging you tightly.

"Twilight! I am so happy to see you!"

"Woah...! Sh-Sheena...?"

Twilight was a little confused, but she let herself be hugged, returning it with her wings.

[He was... alive? Maybe? This wasn't the hospital, and it wasn't the realm of Thanatos. But Reno still remembered the light of Ultima bearing down on him, the pain, the... nothingness. Death.]

[He'd died. Again. But he'd expected that.]

[What he didn't expect was the voice in the void, and being dropped here in this strange room full of... portals.]

Johnny? Johnny?

[He clutched to Sohma almost as tightly as the moogle held on to him, shivering and crying into his Assassin's coat. They hadn't always been on the best of terms, but they were together in this. Reno would still protect him.]

"Sheena! You're alright." Reno smiled as he knelt beside her and Corrine, weak but relieved. He wrapped an arm around her, still holding Sohma in the other, in a sort of large group hug.

[Mogrius and Johnny have never gotten along, but even he was sticking close to his Hero now, looking more serious than ever. Johnny rushes up to Reno and grabs him by the shoulders, like he needs to confirm that it's really Reno he's looking at.]

Thank god. I-- I have no idea what's goin' on. Or what happened. You-- Goddamnit, you idiot.

[He might sound mad, but he lets out a relieved sigh and rests his forehead against Reno's with a light thump.]

Reno took a deep breath... then just sighed and shook his head. He'd heard some of what had already gone on.

"Y'know... I'm sure everyone else is gonna bitch at you as it is, so I won't," he told Sparks, feeling generous. "Shit happens. It ain't your fault."

How many times had Reno opened his big mouth and had something bad come of it? But that was just what Reno did -- and this was who Sparks was. That was all. If not him, someone else would have voiced the same sentiment -- maybe even Reno himself.

"Don't take it too hard, Nevada. So what -- now we die?" Reno smirked and shrugged. "Like we've never had to deal with that before."

"Reno!" She had been standing, but immediately sat back down when her friend joined her. Making sure Corrine was out of the way, she returned the hug, pulling the red-head close.

"I'm so glad you're all right!" She pulled back to take in his appearance. "You are all right, aren't you?"

Embarrassed at Twilight's confusion and her own action, the ninja pulled away for a moment.

"Sorry. It's just that back there... I saw..."

She had seen her friend die. And it had hit her hard, filling her with rage.

Re: Sheena and Corrine - OTA

Sheena had best be prepared as she's getting her bearings, because there is a flying ball of fluff trailing a long red-scarf beelining for her in a hug. "SHEEEEEEEEEEEENA!" Ophelia latches onto her arm. They aren't the closest, but she knows Sheena is friends with Vincent, and Ophelia liked her. This is so not what she was expecting, any of it.

Fortunately Ophelia's Hero of Light isn't too far behind her, even if he's walking over at a more sedate pace. Mostly to keep track of her more than anything else. Once he's closer, Vincent will just nod his head in greeting at her; presumably she's alright. They all seem to be 'alright', physically at least.

"...oh... I'm sorry." Twilight said. "I was too distracted trying to get Aang off that... well..."

She shook her head again before she opted to pull her into a hug once more. "It won't happen again. I promise."

Vincent Valentine | Open Mingle

Waking up slightly disoriented whenever Chaos had emerged was not a new sensation for Vincent. Finding himself in sudden darkness, hearing everyone around him ask questions, and having a small ball of fluff that he recognized by her scarf cling to him was new. Barely having had time to deal with that before they're unconscious again.

Now he's annoyed, but it'll have to wait. First things first is to confirm where they are, where everyone is, and take a headcount. Scout the location. Ophelia, normally ready for adventure, had zipped around his head in a fuss for a bit, her worry obvious. Sighing, he moved to hold her against him, as she burrowed against his gauntlet-covered left arm while he walked.

[Cloud wanders over, drawn by the sound of Bartz shouting to the throne and the air around it. Zack tromps along behind him, nibbling at his partner's hair whenever Cloud slows down. Cloud only makes the most basic of efforts to brush the chocobo's beak away.]

Bartz? Are you okay? Who is Cosmos?

Luckily, Sheena spots the flying ball of fur, so she has time to brace herself for the hug. Corrine settles on the ninja's shoulder as Sheena wraps an arm about Ophelia and hugs her close. "Ophelia! It's okay! I'm all right! Are you and Vincent okay?"

Her second question is answered visually as her friend comes closer. She had seen him change, and while that may have bothered some people, it doesn't Sheena. Vincent is Vincent on the inside, and that's all that matters. As for being all right, Sheena's still a little mentally numb by being in the Void and then somewhere else to worry about anything other than the physical. Shaking her head in disbelief at her friend, she continues hugging his Moogle, while tilting her head to rest against Corrine.

"Why did whoever that was have to scare these guys like this?" There's a note of anger there which anyone can pick up.

Ophelia will happily hug her tighter, and while she's less shakey and trying to be brave, she's worried for all of them. It was...for the first time ever Ophelia had been scared being a Hero's companion. She wasn't giving it up, but it had been been unsettling.

Vincent looks as he usually did, no hint of the demonic being he'd become from pain and anger. His head tilts as Sheena shakes her head, silent question asking for clarification. Then a pause, before speaking softly.

"It may not have been intentional. The moogles have always been keepers of our crystals, so they may not have had a choice."

[Reno grinned. Yeah, it was a dumb move -- but it was worth it.]

Well, don't worry -- sounds like that was my last "get out of death free" stunt.

[Even if he would still die for Johnny all over again... he didn't want to do it right away. He closed his eyes, just focusing on the familiar forehead warmth for now, leaning in just a little to nuzzle Johnny's nose with his own...]

Are you going to kiss now, kupo? We are in danger!

[Reno sighed and looked down at the bundle of moogle shaking his coat.]

It's okay, Sohma. Once we regroup, we can make a plan.

Sohma squeaked as there was suddenly so much hugging it was nearly claustrophobic. When the two stopped, he adjusted his glasses (though he made no attempt to move from Reno's side).

"Yeah. I think so?" Reno smiled uncertainly. "I mean, I was dead, and now I'm not, so... that's gotta count for something?"

"No! Don't apologize! You were saving a friend! That's nothing to apologize for." Sheena had just been reminded of someone, that was all. "You were doing what no one else could do."

Sheena accepts and returns the hug easily, but doesn't say anything about the promise. Because that's one promise someone can't always keep.

Her nurturing instincts at full force, Sheena will just keep a hold of both Moogles right now. Both of them are still shaking against her, and she's not going to let them go until she knows they'll both be all right. A soft "kupo" sounds in her ear, and she basically nuzzles Corrine with a light stroke of her head to let him know she's still there.

Poor thing hadn't even been this scared when he went into battle last year.

Her brows knitting together, she thinks back to what happened in the Void. "You mean they're connected to the Crystals, too?" Her eyes widen as a thought strikes her. "Is that why they can change the jobs stored in there?"

"It's only a hypothesis." But it made sense to him, given the high presence of moogles around their Heroes, and why the companions had been drawn into the void too, and then here. Wherever here was.

"This place is not familiar to you either." It's a statement, rather than a question. Also answering for himself, as he does not know where they are.

"Whoops. Sorry about that," she said to Reno's Moogle, helping him right himself. "You okay?" Resident Moogle Mom at your service.

"Well, 'not dead' is definitely more all right than 'dead'," she said with a relieved smile. "So yeah, it counts." She looked around. "Do you have any idea where we are?"

She didn't recall anything like this mentioned in any reports or...anything.
