( everyone seemed to be preoccupied with their thoughts on this trip. not that edna could blame them, in fact there was probably a few good whacks of an umbrella for anyone not taking it seriously, but once she spotted sorey... the handle of her parasol sunk in her grip, letting it slide further down her shoulder.

as she made her way over to him, something shiny caught her eye— as she leaned down to pluck a single gil from the airship's floor. probably fallen out of someone's pocket. with the gold piece in her grip, she walked over towards him, pausing behind for a moment... before turning her weapon over and delivering a poke to the flank.

if he turns around, he'll see an offering of the gil held out towards him. )

There's a saying about gald for you thoughts, but I guess this gil piece could do just as well.

[ Sorey can't help but blink in surprise when he's suddenly handed some gil. Well, it wouldn't be the first time Edna's found money out of seemingly no where, but it's still surprising all the same.

He reaches to take it, offering a smile. ]

Thanks, Edna. [ But, more importantly... ] How are you holding up?

Just great. ( her tone is as flat as she replaces her hand on the shaft of her parasol. ) You know, as far as getting ready to face the end of the world goes.
