Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
Terra doesn't know what they need to do but she trusts a few to guide their way forward. She rose from her bed, her eyes flicking to the door before rising to stand. She is unlike the others here with a form that appears to be a beast. She shakes her head, claws pulling at her hair as she walks from her room.
She doesn't say anything as she moves down the halls. Lighting dances at her finger tips as if waiting for the word to head into battle. It's obvious that she's had enough waiting.]
no subject
However as she walked that didn't stop her from spotting the other who seemed just as quiet as she was. She had always wondered why but never thought to ask. There had been no point. She thought she might as well ask now before she went up to meet with the others.]
Hello, I guess you must be preparing for the fight ahead to?
no subject
Yes. We shouldn't wait here any longer.
[She wants to move forward. To fight and to defeat this power that has stolen so much from them. Her power moves through her and since awaking here it's come to define her. She's seen people fall and rise though her own power has grown through all of that. She controls it now and she will control the path ahead of her.
What is this? Is it me? I am dreaming?
The voice is distant and the Esper shakes her head pushing it to the side. There is no room for doubt now.]
I don't know why we wait.
no subject
Because rushing into things without a decent plan is more dangerous than having a plan.
[She gave a little pause as she thought about it.]
no subject
[Though she has promised her assistance to one plan in particular. Now she must wait and with each passing second she can feel the world turning on it's head. They've lost so much. It is time to end it.]
Waiting only shortens our time.
Terra steps back against the wall using the cool surface to gather her thoughts.
What is your plan? How can we end this?
She shakes her head with a soft annoyed growl. She doesn't know what voice echoes in her head.]
no subject
While that is true, if one is to rush in it could cause problems. I'm sure people are waiting for the right moment, which won't be much longer now.

Re: Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
As Terra passes by, the tall, lanky woman steps out of her way and bows to her. "Lady Terra." she greets.
"Have the times begun to get to you as well? Many appear to be in a panic, or at least deeply worried."
Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
I only wish to meet the fight instead of waiting for it here.
[She isn't able to sit still. She wants to move and yet there is a small voice at the edge of her thoughts.
Why do I fight now? Is this the monster inside of me? This is the me that isn't human.
Terra feels herself pause wondering what Sandy's thoughts might be.]
And you?
Re: Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
"Come now, that's no way to act!"
The voice she hears makes her facade of 'I am a tool, therefore...' shatters as her eyes go wide. "That voice!" She looks around in a panic.
"I should say. I haven't heard that one in so long!"
Sandy falters and drops to her knees.
Re: Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
What voice?
[Her tone is sharp wanting to know if the others were plagued with the sort of conscience that has been pulling at her thoughts.
I'm not that. I'm Terra and I'm part of you. But the voice sounded unsure as if she didn't know where she belonged.]
Tell me!
Re: Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
"Yes, you did! I haven't heard yours in a while either. Is it a fight we're going after. Well, let's go together. Again. It's been too long since I let loose.. Violent as ever.
The tall, lanky woman stands up, wiping her eyes. "I heard My Lady's voice again. Maybe I've lost my resolve but... No. I didn't lose it. I found it. Whatever I truly heard, I needed to hear. Perhaps we have more help than we believe we do."

Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
He notices her heading for the door, but hesitates. It's dangerous for her to head out on her own. But should he say something? Would she even listen?
Different? Dangerous? Where the heck did you get that idea? Terra is Terra. She's our friend!
He rubs his forehead. He's been having so many weird thoughts today.
C'mon, say something!]
Terra!
[Well, crap. He hadn't actually meant to call out to her. But now that he has...]
Are you going out? You... you shouldn't go alone.
Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
Who? Am I me?
[Terra ignores the timid voice in her thoughts as her eyes fall on the boy.]
Yes. Young Knight.
[Who am I?]
Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
[He doesn't bother to hide his concern, but he also knows that such things are unlikely to sway her from her chosen course. Pragmatism is the better argument.]
If you tell me what you're trying to do, I can probably help you formulate a plan. You must know by now that I'm pretty clever.
[Clever and strong.
Not really humble.Man, that is a lot of words to just tell her you're worried about her...
The Onion knight manages just barely to hide his surprise at that thought. Where were these strange thoughts coming from? But he manages to keep a straight face.]
Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
We have to fight. You know time is running short.
[Everyone had retreated to their homes. They were scared.
He's worried. Why not be nicer?
The voice echoes in her thoughts as her other self sees through her eyes. Why would this little knight be worried about her?]
Unless you have another idea.
[They were running out of ideas.]
Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
We need to focus on stopping the one responsible for this. I doubt it will stop the crystallization, but it may spare other worlds this fate.
Hey, don't give up that easily! Maybe the bad guy can tell you how to stop it. Just beat him up until he does.
[Ugh. Now he's sure something strange is going on. But why on earth would he be hearing Bartz of all people?]

Are you ready for this?
{Terra...why do you-}
[A pesky thought is dismissed as Sephiroth turns more to face her. He has always known that together they will unlock Terra's potential and finally everything they have worked for is coming to a head.]
no subject
Sephiroth?
Terra's eyes flash as if his voice stirs a deep dormant power that has yet to be tapped. Her claws flinch and lighting dances at the tips of her fingers as her gaze looks up at the taller warrior.]
Yes.
[Her answer is simple but it rings true as if confirming his power over her. The conscience within her mind notices the difference between the man in front of her and the other she knows from before.
Is this a memory? Or something else?]
Are you?
no subject
{Three-? I don't understand.}
He doesn't hear the voice anymore though, doesn't need to. He nods and sweeps to the side in a fluid motion, coming up alongside Terra. He smiles, though it simply lacks any kindness. It's a smirk, borne of a man filled with deep hatred and anger at his core, yet with enough stern control to mask it all.]
Good. And I am more than ready. It will be everything to play for, this time.
no subject
You know him too?
Don't you?
Yes
Terra slowly exhales feeling the chill in the air.]
Yes. I didn't think the end would be... [Like this? No, she knew it would be like this. There is no way to know how today will end.]
no subject
Just like a Cetra-
{But that doesn't mean that you have to-}
No. It gives more of a reason to.
If there is one thing they have always had in common, it's how their existences here are significantly less that what they were back on their home worlds.]
This won't be the end. Only the beginning.
[He has no intention of letting this be the end, of any of it.]

Re: Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
The pink-white glow ahead of him made him slow and look up, recognizing the bestial woman who made up their number. The heroes were such a motley crew and Haytham had no particular love of the non-humans among them. He didn't hate them, but he simply didn't feel the time or need to make them a priority in his thoughts.
Still, it didn't hurt for him to be polite. He tipped his hat as he made eye contact.]
My lady.
Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
Haytham.
[Terra at least knew his name. Why don't you want to get to know him? The voice echoes in her thoughts and before realizing it Terra answered herself. Humans can't be trusted.
She paused her eyes shifting uncharacteristically uncertain as she silently answers the voice.]
Strange things in the air.
Re: Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
{Terra? That's that girl? The one Bonnie was mentioning? Is this what she truly looks like? Is it something sleeping inside her?}
She needed to be properly bound and collared, but he lacked the resources to do so. Hopefully he'd find an artifact during his expedition that could aid with this matter as well.
{You Templars. You all think it's fine and well to treat someone like property as long as it benefits you, don't you? All you say about order and peace is just a lie and you know it.}
Haytham frowned and turned his head, checking to see if Mary was here. But no, she was back at the memorial. And she couldn't know his mind THAT well.]
Mmm, yes. I'm afraid I keep hearing things. Must be my imagination. I expect our enemies are simply trying to find new ways to trouble us. All the more reason to end this swiftly.
Re: Terra [Esper Form] - [Open]
Her other-worldly gaze locks on Haytham as if knowing his thoughts. She isn’t about to let someone control her, not again.]
If only it was so simple.
[He’s short sighted and unable to feel the currents around him. All humans were like that and while the voice in her head is unwelcome. Terra knows it as her own. It is the echo of a part of her that died the moment she chose to remain an Esper.]
Sadly it’s not your imagination that pesters you.
