Where: Trano Golsaucia, Aqures Ixen, Airships.
When: The 5th of May. The new Heroes of Light will awaken early in the morning.
Summary: The new Heroes of Light awaken in the Temple of Wind next to Trano Golsaucia, and they are informed by their assigned Moogles of what the situation and what their destinies are. Warning: N/A

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Within a split second, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, your world vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see. Even you feel different: all the powers you might once have had are now gone. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you...

And at this very moment, when it looks as though nothing but a never-ending void awaits you, a red Crystal forms before you. In this void, its warmth compels you to grab it. Upon doing so, you can hear a soft, soothing voice speaking:

"Wake up."

Soon, the void itself vanishes and is replaced by a gentle breeze. Had it all been nothing more than a dream? The soothing voice repeats its call once more, but is soon replaced by a much less graceful "Wake up, Kupo!" Hand clutched on your Crystal, the call of the Moogle may finally bring you back to your senses. But you are no longer in your world, nor in the void. You are before the Crystal of Wind, in the Temple located right outside of a city called Trano Golsaucia. At this point, you may realize the breeze originates from the massive green Crystal floating nearby. As if it wasn't strange enough, your clothes have changed as well. They are now a reflection of the Jobs you are wielding.

Last but not least, you are surrounded by Moogles, small and fluffy creatures. They look pretty tired, but they will be more than happy to tell you everything you want to know. They shall tell you about your 'destiny' as a Hero of Light and about what awaits you. Or at least, they will tell you everything they do know, which isn't much in the end.

There are quite a few people around you as well. For the most part, they are people like you-- All clothed in their Job garbs and most likely wondering what is happening. There are also some other Humans, Tarutaru and Hypello in the room, but unlike you they don't have a Crystal, nor do they have a Moogle following them. If addressed, they will say they are the Guardians of the Crystal of Wind and will confirm everything the Moogle said. They will reveal they found you unconscious around the Crystal a couples hours ago, and immediately contacted the Moogles and the government of Aqures Ixen.

If asked about it, both the Moogles and Guardians will explain that Heroes of Light have already appeared in this world within the past year, and they all are in a city called Aqures Ixen. It's the first time Heroes have appeared in this temple. In fact, you probably should go to Aqures Ixen as well. The Moogle will tell you this is where your house is and where the other Heroes will be able to help you. Thankfully, should you decide to take your sweet time to get there, the other Heroes may just come to you.

The Other Heroes
— Anytime —

And indeed, thanks to the efficiency of Mognet and Shoopuf Airline it does not take long for the other Heroes to come around. You may meet them in Trano Golsaucia or in Aqures Ixen, or maybe even in one of the Airships going back and forth between the two cities. They are those who arrived in this world months ago and they have gone through quite a lot. You may have imagined heroic and charismatic figures when your Moogle told you there were other Heroes of Light in this world. You may have imagined persons with fearsome powers when they told you how they recklessly attacked the Heran Empire to free their friends a few months ago. And most importantly, you may have imagined them as people who would have the answers to your, doubtlessly, numerous questions.

If so, you may be up for a complete and utter disappointment. Still, for the most part they know more than you on the situation and may be more than happy to fill you in, especially if your Moogle didn't tell you much.

Trano Golsaucia
— Anytime —

Should you leave the Temple of Wind and head south, you will reach Trano Golsaucia. It's a gigantic city covered with snow-- To make it simple, this city is a gigantic amusement park. It is the most popular place in this world and of course, there are plenty of people all around. Thankfully, other Heroes of Light are easy to spot: they are the only ones who are followed by a Moogle and holding a Crystal.

And there is quite a lot to be done in this city. Maybe you could stop by the Triple Triad Center to begin a successful career in card games, or maybe you could buy a ticket at the Blitzball Stadium to support your favorite team. If you're the kind of person who relies on luck, you may have more fun gambling in the Casino or betting on your favorite Chocobo in the Chocobo Races. If you're more of a person who enjoys simpler games, maybe you could try one of the numerous carnival-style mini-games found in the city, such as the shooting stand or the treasure chest game.

If you'd like more details regarding all the attractions and games available in Trano Golsaucia, you can find everything here! Of course, all of this requires money and odds are that you may not have a single Gil yet. If your Moogle is nice though, maybe you could ask him or her to loan you some Gil...

Airships
— Every Four Hours —

Upon reaching Trano Golsaucia, you will also have the right to board an Airship. Exceptionally, there is an Airship available every four hours, all because of your arrival so that Heroes of Light can meet each other and go to Aqures Ixen with ease.

The flight itself should take between four to six hours as it will travel from one city to the other on route. This is nothing special for the denizens of this world, but for you it may be quite the experience if you never boarded a plane or any flying contraptions before. The service is nothing special, but there are some light refreshments offered free of charge. Note that most of the employees on Airships are Hypello.

Aqures Ixen
— After an Airship Trip —

Upon arriving in Aqures Ixen, the first thing you will see is the Airship Port in the 12th District. Following that, no doubt your eyes will find the Castle of Aqures Ixen, a classic yet refined structure standing in the city. From there on, characters are free to visit the city-- There are no attractions in this city, but there are scientific buildings, another Blitzball Stadium and even an Observatory serving as base for the Heroes of Light. If you'd like more details regarding all that is available in Aqures Ixen, you can find everything here!

Or maybe -and perhaps inevitably!- you could visit your new house in the 11th or 14th District, and get to know your new neighbors and housemate. It's been a long day, so you could use some sleep. Hopefully your neighbors are people you will get along with...

[She doesn't actually have a physical picture, she's just describing them and the mun is lazy. But Levy frowns all the same at the bad news.]

Well, if they're anything like lacrima and if what's happening here is anything like what happened to my friends... everyone is in a lot of trouble.

"Now now now, panicking over it all at once isn't going to help anyone find anybody."

Without asking, Val places her hands around Levy's and holds them together. "Why don't you take a deep breath and tell me what you've been through. Things are quite different here, so maybe talking about it will ease you some."

Something about the way she's so, smiley and caring might be a good bit comforting... if Levy's not too worked up to calm down!
scriptrix: (confused)

[personal profile] scriptrix 2015-05-13 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
H-huh...?

[Well, that seems to have jolted her out of her worry, at least momentarily. Mogjeel seems none too happy with this turn of events.]

Hey! What do you think you're doing, kupo!

U-um... well, it's kind of a long story.
aero_dienamic: (Damnit)

[personal profile] aero_dienamic 2015-05-14 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
"I have time. Plenty of time. If you have a story to tell, I'll listen."

Val doesn't seem bothered by Mogjeel's concern and he they wanna get in the way... well, it wouldn't be the first Moogle she's frightened to fear for their life.
scriptrix: (concerned)

[personal profile] scriptrix 2015-05-14 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Well... the short version is...

[Levy sort of brushes Mogjeel aside. This isn't going to be a problem.]

...I'm from a world called Earthland. Magic is abundant there, about ten percent of humans can use it naturally. There's another world like mine called Edolas. Magic exists there too, but in limited quantities, and it was in danger of running out. The king of Edolas devised a plan to create a spell called Anima that would suck the magic out of Earthland and bring it to Edolas, condensing it into a crystalline form called lacrima. He'd been doing this for years quietly, but then a huge one opened up over the town my guild is in and sucked up all the buildings and people living there - me included - and we were all turned into a huge lacrima.

But the king's plan didn't stop just with that. What he really planned to do was drain the magic power of three of my friends who were immune to being turned into lacrima, and use their power and all the power in the lacrima to fire a huge magical cannon at a floating island located above the kingdom. The race that lived on that island were called Exceed - the only creatures in Edolas to naturally possess magic. If he could turn their kingdom into a giant lacrima, it would have enough magic to power the rest of the world forever.

[After all that, she takes a deep breath.]

...Well, a lot of things happened, but he was defeated, his plan was foiled, and everyone got to return home. But if that kind of thing - people turning into crystals - is happening here too, then I need to find my friends. They have a special kind of magic that can turn lacrima back into people.

During most of the explanation, she ends up spacing out, looking a little sadder and sadder as she remembers things she hasn't been allowed to see in more than seven years, her 'floating castle', crystals, magic that was 'hers'. It's depressing but not for the same reasons as she might correlate to her story.

"Well... unfortunately dear, coming here means that your powers are likely gone, or drastically different. You see, this world has it's own laws of nature and... Even if your friends could help, they wouldn't be able to solve the issue. I think we're here to play by their rules and solve things." she says solemnly. "It's not the most ideal situation, but, it's much much better than some of the things I've had to go through. And there's a very likely chance that your friends simply are not here."

She remembers her sister though. "Yet."

[personal profile] scriptrix 2015-05-15 12:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[Sadly, that was about as short as Levy could make the story. Fairy Tail gets into some seriously screwed up shit.]

Different rules, huh...

[She frowns somewhat thoughtfully before nodding her head.]

Okay. We'll just have to find another way, then.
aero_dienamic: (Hmm)

[personal profile] aero_dienamic 2015-05-17 04:27 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh, but of course, though... I personally don't know what to do with myself, so, until that time comes, I'm simply going to enjoy my increased freedom while I can." she states.

"After all we still have some time to have a little fun. There's no sense in constantly stressing over things." She was actively choosing to hope the matters at hand weren't as serious as she'd heard.
scriptrix: (concerned)

[personal profile] scriptrix 2015-05-17 06:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't we have a limited amount of time to deal with the problem, though?
aero_dienamic: (Hmm)

[personal profile] aero_dienamic 2015-05-18 04:03 pm (UTC)(link)
"That may be true, but many of us certainly don't know what to really do yet so, until we're sure, it's best to have fun with the time we have while we have it."

She has a point... possibly an irresponsible one, but a point all the same. "We can spend it being ready for anything or, having a little fun in between getting ready. Am I not wrong?" She pats Levy on the head with a smile.
scriptrix: (upset)

[personal profile] scriptrix 2015-05-18 06:22 pm (UTC)(link)
All work and no play, huh? I guess you're right, but I still want to try to study this world's magic and crystals.

[She seems slightly off-put by the head pat, puffing her cheeks out a little.]
aero_dienamic: (Default)

[personal profile] aero_dienamic 2015-05-19 04:41 pm (UTC)(link)
"Indeed."

Oh, come now, she means it like a big sister.

"There's always time to study, but remember to have fun, otherwise we're all going to be having fun without you~" she giggles.
scriptrix: (sad)

[personal profile] scriptrix 2015-05-19 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[Gestures that remind Levy of how short she is tend to be met with the poutyface.]

What do people do for fun in this world?
aero_dienamic: (Default)

[personal profile] aero_dienamic 2015-05-22 08:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Val must make that sensation worse, as a woman that stands at nearly seven feet tall.

"Well, a lot of things. I find this city has many little games to play, but the primary City for Heroes also has a nifty popular card game. And you can always go looking for love as well."
scriptrix: (upset)

[personal profile] scriptrix 2015-05-23 04:01 pm (UTC)(link)
That's okay, I'm not really worried about that kind of thing.

[At this point her moogle speaks up.]

Levy doesn't need a man! She only needs me!

Like I said, not worried. Or looking.
aero_dienamic: (Smile)

[personal profile] aero_dienamic 2015-05-24 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
The Fiend smirks, looking the Moogle over, giving him a rather frightening glare.

"Now now, calm down dear. Nobody said that's what you have to do, only that it's an option for you."
scriptrix: (concerned)

[personal profile] scriptrix 2015-05-25 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
[He does his best to look brave, but his legs are shaking.]

Still... I'll probably find something else to do.
