Because all of this makes sense [OPEN]
Characters: Yuffie and OPEN
Where: Aqures Ixen, also heading out of the city.
When: May 14th to May 20nd -ish
Summary: These chains of action make sense to Yuffie.
Warning: N/A
Rearranging some of MarKus's(or Spark's) things (or others – before meeting)
She would never take things and keep them, not anymore anyway. She just enjoyed moving her friends things around when they weren't around. If something caught her eye she might borrow it for a short period of time but she would always give it back. It was a distraction and it kept her skills sharp. There were many things filtering through her thoughts but nothing made sense when she finally went to put the pieces together.
Yuffie might be digressing a bit but it was the only way she really knew how to deal with everything. She wasn't sure if she should feel happy. Did she diverse to feel happy? Everything happens for a reason right? Maybe it was suppose to happen?
[ooc: Feel free to have Yuffie swipe anything. She'd look at it and then give it back or if she knows you, you can catch her moving your things around.]
Sneaking into windows (for those she knows - after meeting)
Her footsteps were silent as she moved across the gleaming grass. It wasn't so bright in the dark but the moons light was enough to make the area far to bright for Yuffie's liking. She couldn't really hide. She moved across the yard glancing at the window that stood like a checkered line marking the end of a race. It wasn't so hard to get to.
Yuffie should have probably turned invisible to do this but that wasn't as much fun and there was a purpose to her visit. The meeting had her thinking and this was her best chance to finally do something. She didn't think the other heroes were going to do anything so quickly so she was going to leave and try and do things herself.
There were just a few places she had to stop by first.
She moved up towards the window moving silently as she carefully began to open the sliding glass. She peeked in the window waiting for her eyes to adjust to the darker room. Let's hope her target was asleep.
Leaving town (Maybe not permanently or at all – after meeting)
Mooshoo finally caught up to her as she walked away from the city gates. A bag was slung over her shoulder and she walked with a purpose. She should probably leave with company but that didn't really cross her mind. She wanted to do something and this was one of the few times Mooshoo was trying to talk her out of a crazy idea.
”...This isn't a good idea” Mooshoo watched Yuffie his expression filled with worry. He usually let her be watching as she grew and changed over time. He knew that people cared about her and she cared about those around her and yet she was trying to do things on her own again.
“Come on. Mushu. It will be fine. I can't just do nothing.” She flashed him an angry stare.
”....you shouldn't go alone...”
“Yeah, I don't think anyone would want to come with. Besides I have even more people I want to protect.” She meant to make it sound like she was complaining but her tone became wistful and soft as she spoke. Yuffie knew a handful of people who'd get pissed if she just up and left.

You said you were in a persons head right? Didn't they have some past with some of them? It can't be nothing.
[If only because Yuffie doesn't want it to be nothing. She'd have to go bother someone else and the first two who came to mind she doesn't really want to see.]
no subject
[It's not much, but that's really all she's got.]
no subject
I'm really pissed I didn't have the dream! That's just not fair.
[Of course it's probably better that way but it still annoys her.]
no subject
[Chiaki didn't feel that way, but she knows that wasn't everyone's experience.]
no subject
[She says it like she's kidding though there is some truth to her words.
Yuffie leans back against the wall and sighs.]
It's still stupid.
[Yuffie jumps to her feet looking over at a sleep Chiaki with a smile. Her cards were everywhere including all over her bedding.]
Well, I'm gonna be awesome.
no subject
[Chiaki nods, smiling at that last comment of Yuffie's.]
Don't lose hope, and believe in your friends. That's the most important thing.
no subject
[Yuffie squints when she looks at Chiaki with a smile. She does believe in her friends though she is working that extra mile to believe in herself more. She doesn't want her friends to fight if they don't have to. Some of them weren't fighters.]
no subject
[If Yuffie has been paying attention to Chiaki's speech patterns, she may have noticed she frequently tacks on 'probably' or 'maybe' or 'I think' to the ends of her statements. That is pointedly missing this time.]
no subject
[She lightly scratches under her nose with her smile still in place.]
Well, in that case. If I do anything stupid I will let you know!
no subject
[Chiaki holds out her pinky finger. This is the most serious of promises.]
no subject
[Yuffie hooks her pinky finger with Chiaki's and smiles.]
Oh! So I might try and sneak into the Empire.
Giving you a heads up.
no subject
[Chiaki unhooks her finger, walking over to her desk and sitting down. She takes out a piece of paper and a pencil and starts writing.]
no subject
[She watches Chiaki walk over to her desk curiously.]
What are you writing?
no subject
[Chiaki finishes what she was writing, folding it up.]
I'm writing a letter to the other Heroes, to let them know what you're planning to do. I'm not going to stop you, but I'm also not going to sit here and let you throw your life away. Believing in yourself doesn't mean getting yourself killed. If you were listening to anything I said before, this is a bad way of showing it.
no subject
[Yuffie tries to swipe the letter from Chiaki but she knows that she can always just rewrite it if she needs too.]
I'm not going to get myself killed and they will be to focused on the growing crystal to even see me. Some others thought it was a good idea too but there idea involves getting others hurt!
[She doesn't want anyone else to get hurt.]
no subject
[And yes, Chiaki fully intends to rewrite the letter and send it as soon as Yuffie leaves unless she can get her to back down.]
You don't know that. And if your plan doesn't work and you do get captured again, plenty of people will get hurt coming to save you. And they will try. Running into danger like this doesn't keep you safe, and it doesn't keep the people you care about safe either.
[Chiaki agrees on that point - people getting hurt is the last thing she wants.]
no subject
[Yuffie is yelling now but with Chiaki's threat she knows that she can't leave. If not Chiaki she can list the number of people who would be angry at her and force her to stay.]
I can't just do nothing?!
[She forgets that it's late and that there are others sleeping nearby. Yuffie feels tears form in the corner of her eyes as she watches Chiaki.]
no subject
[This isn't an easy gesture for Chiaki to make, but she stands up, walks over, and wraps Yuffie up in what is an awkward but heartfelt hug.]
I'm asking you to trust your friends. No one person can do this on their own. Not you, and not me.
[Her voice is quiet, only a whisper next to Yuffie's ear at this point.]
If this world's problems could be solved like that, Crystallis would only need to summon a single Hero of Light. But instead, there are hundreds of us. We need to work together.
no subject
Her palms remain on her friends shoulders and she smiles.]
I got it. No need to get sappy. I won't go alone.
[She pauses feeling slightly awkward.]
You don't need to send that letter.
no subject
Okay. Good. I know it's selfish and unfair of me to ask you to wait when there's so much going on, but I promise we'll get better results if we all coordinate our efforts.
no subject
[Yuffie waves a hand dismissively.]
I'll figure something else out. I'll send Mooshoo with word if its stupid.
[She sighs.]
Damn now I have to think of a new plan.
no subject
I think once Cid's airship is fixed, we'll be able to get a lot more done. The world map always opens up a lot after that happens.
no subject
[She echoes the name with a mixture of raw emotions.]
He's not the Cid I know. I want my Cid here. I want Red and stupid Barret and..[He can't say the last few names.] okay maybe I don't want them here but I wish I knew that they were okay.
[Yuffie moans loudly clawing at her hair in a messy fashion. It is getting longer which made the habit annoying because she'd then have to brush her hair.]
I'm so tired of all this crap.
no subject
[Chiaki was trying to be reassuring, not drive Yuffie back down into depression. She frowns a bit before walking over to sit down on the bed.]
I can't do anything about any of that, but I promise I'll always do the things I can for you as a friend.
no subject
You don't have to do anything. I'm just complaining.
[She looks over at Chiaki with a smile.]
I should probably go home and sleep. [Not that Yuffie sleeps most nights.]
