Summary: The Heroes of Light relive some of their worst memories, with a twist. All characters participating in this will be physically missing from Crystallis for the duration of the event.
Warning: It depends on the memory.

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Everything around you freezes, nearly as if time itself stopped, as if the world was frozen in time. And before you have a chance to understand what is happening, you can hear a voice right behind you.

"Kali Shashidhwaja."

Should you turn around, you may see a child who seems to be the only one aside from you unaffected by what is happening. And as she stares right at you, it makes no doubt these strange words are aimed at you. But before you can reply to her, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, Crystallis vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see.

And once again you feel different: all the powers from your Jobs are fading. Not only that, but you might find that your Crystal is gone and your clothes back to what they were before you woke up in Crystallis. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you... And yet, slowly the world reforms around you. The darkness fades away and a new world appears, yet at the same time this is not a world.

This is a memory. The question is, is it yours or that of someone else?

Yuffie looked up at Olivier surprised. Everything she said made perfect sense and Yuffie couldn't deny that. She wiped at her eyes until she was sure the streaks and stains were gone. Her gaze shifted up to Olivier who looked taller with Yuffie sitting on the ground.

She felt the tension in her shoulders release slightly as she inhales a breath of air. "I guess being selfish runs in my family." Her palm was pressed against her cheek when she looked up at Olivier.

"I was never very good at giving up. I don't know... when that started." She did know when it started. It was that day that the Empire took Luffy in her place. "How can I protect everyone? A country?" How can she be the princess that her mother wanted her to be.

"You can't protect everyone on your own. Those looking to protect people must have like minded people along side them. People you would trust to take a bullet for you, and a bullet for someone they might not like, but know doesn't deserve to die. After you have people you trust, then you start a network or information gathering to keep your ears alert for any threats. And when push comes to shove, you must always be willing to give your life for theirs. If you are struck down, you will be an inspiration for them to go on carrying out your work."

Yuffie shook her head slightly keeping her gaze on Olivier. "It's a lot easier to die for someone than it is to live for someone." She smiled slightly feeling a little bit better; somehow.

"Olivier? Do you trust me?"

She knew what the answer was but she wanted to hear it. Olivier got off on the wrong foot and Yuffie was fine with not getting along with someone. She was used to it but she still felt the need to ask.

Olivier is a bit surprised at the question. She hadn't been expecting the woman to actually ask her that. "Honestly, I don't know what to think about you. I do know there are certain people you would help out in a pinch. Don't think I didn't figure out you cut Lydia a deal on her first weapon. When we first met, you didn't seem stable, and we don't always understand one another. When it comes down to it, do I think I could count on you to fight by my side to protect people? Yes. I do actually, but I don't know how far I can trust you, if that makes sense."

Yuffie just shook her head. "I only like you a little because you're honest." She slowly stood the sound of the shout and the cries slowly fading and dropping away.

"I would take a bullet for you. If that's what you want to know. Maybe I get it from mom. I don't think that anyone should die and I'm pretty good at healing."

Yuffie slowly stood smiling. "I think it's okay. If we don't understand each other." Her words faded and in seconds the dream faded to black and Yuffie was gone as Olivier was tossed to another dream.
