Event || In Your Worst Memory

Summary: The Heroes of Light relive some of their worst memories, with a twist. All characters participating in this will be physically missing from Crystallis for the duration of the event.
Warning: It depends on the memory.

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Everything around you freezes, nearly as if time itself stopped, as if the world was frozen in time. And before you have a chance to understand what is happening, you can hear a voice right behind you.

"Kali Shashidhwaja."

Should you turn around, you may see a child who seems to be the only one aside from you unaffected by what is happening. And as she stares right at you, it makes no doubt these strange words are aimed at you. But before you can reply to her, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, Crystallis vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see.

And once again you feel different: all the powers from your Jobs are fading. Not only that, but you might find that your Crystal is gone and your clothes back to what they were before you woke up in Crystallis. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you... And yet, slowly the world reforms around you. The darkness fades away and a new world appears, yet at the same time this is not a world.

This is a memory. The question is, is it yours or that of someone else?

"Hero of Light."

After she said that, the four figures populating the garden disappeared. The little girl however, did not look surprised and focused her stare on Cloud still.

"She helped him find us. We will meet again, but do not dwell on what has happened, or dream of what shall happen. Focus on the present."

"Hero of..." Cloud cut off as he saw the vanishing of the other presences out of the corner of his eye. A tight spin confirmed that they were all gone.

"Helped him..." Who could she be talking about, "The present. You mean the crystal that's spreading? The Calamity? What can we do to stop it?" The other him and the other Heroes couldn't do it last time right? Or at least it had spread so far he assumed so. He couldn't imagine things ended well after...

"What can we do different?"

"Find me again."

With these last words, the little girl disappeared as well. After that, the crystal disappeared as well along with the garden. Soon, Cloud was left standing in nothing but nothingness, but clearly he wasn't home yet.

"Find...." Cloud's words cut off as the girl vanished. "But..." And then the rest of the scenery was gone as well. He stood there uncertainly for a time. Was he stuck? Was he still in the memory place? Should he...well was "wake up" the right term?

Realizing he wasn't falling or anything he took a few tentative steps forward, testing his footing. Once he was sure he wasn't tumbling to oblivion he kept walking. There wasn't much else to do. Maybe there was something else here?

"HELLO?"

After a while spent walking in the nothingness, upon turning around Cloud would stumble upon an armored figure. Whoever was hiding behind that armor was quite imposing and should he have spotted him during the Imperial Parade, Cloud may recognize that armor as the one Emperor Garland wore then. The armored man had a blade in hand and seemingly striked a blow at Cloud--

The blow didn't hit or kill him however, and instead Cloud was thrown back in Crystallis, falling quite violently where he had been before all of this began. The other Heroes of Light returned to Crystallis at the very same moment, though Cloud was the only one to see that.
