Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Everything around you freezes, nearly as if time itself stopped, as if the world was frozen in time. And before you have a chance to understand what is happening, you can hear a voice right behind you.
"Kali Shashidhwaja."
Should you turn around, you may see a child who seems to be the only one aside from you unaffected by what is happening. And as she stares right at you, it makes no doubt these strange words are aimed at you. But before you can reply to her, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, Crystallis vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see.
And once again you feel different: all the powers from your Jobs are fading. Not only that, but you might find that your Crystal is gone and your clothes back to what they were before you woke up in Crystallis. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you... And yet, slowly the world reforms around you. The darkness fades away and a new world appears, yet at the same time this is not a world.
This is a memory. The question is, is it yours or that of someone else?

"You know Gestahl. Since he is in charge of this mission it's up to him if she lives or is killed. You know our mission don't you?" His eyes shine like that of a vampires seeking blood. There was nothing that was meant to survive. The Empire would be the most powerful country and that meant the Esper world had to be cleansed.
"Off you go girly."

Her hands were keeping close to her sides as she tried to think of what to do or better yet, say next. But it took her a while longer to try not to shiver outwardly at the other watching her.
"Of course, I know, but sometimes a girl forgets if they get too busy." She doesn;t like the term girly though, nor did she really want to go. Her eyes were still focused on the girl instead. She kind of wished she could think of a way to get the other out. If she could of course. She just needed to stick around a little longer.

"Would you like to share his fate? Soldiers follow orders." He walked towards Terra taking her by the arm before turning and tossing her at one of the men standing nearby. "Take her to Gestahl." He man saluted and began to drag the young girl away. Terra didn't put up much of a resistance though letting him guide her. Her little spirit had already been broken.
"Now" Kefka turned towards Minako. "What to do with you?" He didn't care what side she was on. He was sick of looking at her.

Slowly opening her eyes she quickly realized that the girl was getting taken away. She went to move, but froze in place when the other once again spoke. That never sounded good, especially for a guy like that. She got the feeling that something was about to go down and she was going to be prepared for it. Her hands slowly reached into the pocket, preparing to use her powers if needed. At least she hoped that she could use her crystal to call her powers as Sailor Venus back.
"You don't have to deal with me, I am about to go."
no subject
"Are you now? Run along then." He smiled a cruel sickness smile that often becomes the permanent expression on his face. He won't stop Minako from leaving but if she stayed she'd surly be killed by Kafka or the many soldiers around her.

She just hoped that he didn't follow. With each step, she continued her walk trying to remember where the girl had been taken. "Now... where did they go and why was she here?" She muttered to herself still a little confused about the whole situation, but she wanted to know.

She'd see a flash of mint green out of the corner of her eye and if she turned to look at it she will see Terra as an adult kneeling in front of a body. Her fingers tentatively reached out pushing the blond hair aside to reveal a face that was much like her own.
It was her mother, she hadn't been able to talk to her or know her and even now that was out of her reach.

Taking a few steps closer, she thought she would at least speak up a tiny bit. "Is..." She paused. It was obvious things weren't fine. That was a stupid thing to ask.
"Do you need anything?" That was better, but she could have done even better than that.

"No. I just want the fighting to stop." She already knew what she had lost but this was like a fresh reminder of a life that she never knew.
She had been captured and tortured most of her life. There was no room for family or love.

In her world that person was always the princess, she was the one who would bring peace to the whole world after all. But she wondered if this would mean anything to anyone.
"Sometimes that person who wants it to stop is usually the one who wants the fighting to stop. Maybe you'll be that person."

“This is genocide.” She turned towards Minako then, her blue eyes glowing like the monsters that fought for their homes. “Everyone in the Esper world, except me, will die.” She spoke as if it was a fact that she had come to terms with long ago. The problem was that Terra never had to see it. She knew her father and mother died. She knew that her world was stained in blood and then emptied of its inhabitants but seeing it hurt so much more.
She couldn’t even speak with her parents.
The glow in her eyes dimmed some as if the energy around her was affecting their light. Terra didn’t notice but they weren’t always so bright. It was the magic around her, calling to her.

"This...who thing must be really painful for you. But sometimes... pain makes people stronger. I don't quite understand how, but it does. Might not be the best thing to say really." She rubs a hand behind her head, she felt awkward as she said each word.
"But...This is still pretty horrible thing to have gone through and I;m sorry."
no subject
She slowly rose from her position on the ground looking over at Minako. "You shouldn't be here." Terra didn't understand it but she knew that the young hero wasn't part of these memories. She wanted to roam through these dreams alone.
Terra looked away from Minako and as she stepped from the dead woman's body blackness surrounded her and Minako was ejected from the dream.
