Event || In Your Worst Memory

When: May 27th - May 30th
Summary: The Heroes of Light relive some of their worst memories, with a twist. All characters participating in this will be physically missing from Crystallis for the duration of the event.
Warning: It depends on the memory.

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Everything around you freezes, nearly as if time itself stopped, as if the world was frozen in time. And before you have a chance to understand what is happening, you can hear a voice right behind you.

"Kali Shashidhwaja."

Should you turn around, you may see a child who seems to be the only one aside from you unaffected by what is happening. And as she stares right at you, it makes no doubt these strange words are aimed at you. But before you can reply to her, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, Crystallis vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see.

And once again you feel different: all the powers from your Jobs are fading. Not only that, but you might find that your Crystal is gone and your clothes back to what they were before you woke up in Crystallis. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you... And yet, slowly the world reforms around you. The darkness fades away and a new world appears, yet at the same time this is not a world.

This is a memory. The question is, is it yours or that of someone else?

Yuri you can't--

Just go! Take them and go.

[ He's not going to listen to Flynn nope. He shoves Flynn forward and jumps into the mess with Yuffie and Niren. ]

Who-Whoa!

[ He almost toppled over as landed since the ground kept rumbling. More chunks of rubble were being shattered, and the Aer was going completely awol at this point. Yuri obviously didn't know what he was doing but he had to make sure that she got to safety and Niren as well since he's already halfway there. ]

Hey easy!

[ He patted her a bit to ensure she wasn't going to lose her balance but this was a mess. ]

Give me the old man.

[ He replied. Now how the hell was he getting out of this? ]

[Yuffie has no problems with this so far. She gives Yuri control letting him take the man that she can't even attempt to move. Her eyes then glance up towards the cliff before them.]

Good thing we aren't in Crystallis.

[She inspects her sides finding her materia and weapons where they were before she left Gaia. She begins to unwrap a long bandage from her arm and then tie it to the dull part of a blade.

Yuffie flicks her wrist sending the blade up and embedding it into the top of the cliff.]

I can get up on my own. This can't hold all of us but it should be able to lift him up. [She points to the white cloth hanging down from the rocks.]

[dammit_flynn]

[ The unstable movement was causing him to lose his balance every now and then. Niren's more or less passed out from the injuries he sported, but they both had gone way to damn far to leave him behind. Somehow, having Yuffie help him was appreciated. ]

No kidding. With those crappy classes we have, we'd probably die already.

[ He mused as he watched her get crafty. ]

Yeah, now how do we---

[ The Flynn in this part of his memory resolved that issue by offering a hand from above. ]

...

[ Well whatever, he shoved Niren up, but as they made that effort do so, the ground further collapsed underneath them. The time bomb was ticking. It was going to explode any second now. ]

[Yuffie is proud of her idea. They will at least get him out. The ground shakes as they get the old man up and she watches Yuri and Flynn work. She's about to jump and scale the wall when the ground shakes again.

She falls backwards hitting her head against the ground.]

Ow...

[She slowly rubs the back of her head as her eyes refocus on what is happening.]

[dammit_flynn]

[ So much for that. As Yuffie hits her head, Yuri moved over to grab her as she refocuses. ]

Hey, what'd I say about watching your step?

[ He's going to pull her forward and attempt to make Flynn take her first. The ground continued to give in shakes and explosions much more obvious now, spurting all the concrete and pieces of concrete everywhere. ]

[She looks up at Yuri slightly dazed. She doesn't register what's going on until he grabs her.]

We'll go together

[Yuffie's voice sounds far away as she tries to shake the pain in her head. She's used to falling but she doesn't remember it hurting so much.]

I got this. You go up after him.

[She points to the old man that is slowly being lifted up from the crumbling ground.]

I can scale the wall.

[dammit_flynn]

[ And Yuri's not going to let her do this her way though. He'd rather just deal with it on his own. ]

No, you're getting up and out right now.

[ At this point Flynn was getting ready to leave, only now the ground just collapsed underneath the both of them. ]

[The floor falls before Yuffie can do more than scream. Then she remembers that she isn't in Crystallis anymore.

Her feet quickly find a piece of falling rock and she using it to jump towards Yuri and hopefully catch hold of the wall.]

YURI!

[ Woop, well there goes Yuri falling into the mess of broken concrete and such. So much for trying to change history here.

Everything for the both of them would eventually turn bright white. ]
