Event || In Your Worst Memory

Characters: All Heroes of Light. Only those who signed-up can start a memory.
Where: Interdimensional Rift
When: May 27th - May 30th
Summary: The Heroes of Light relive some of their worst memories, with a twist. All characters participating in this will be physically missing from Crystallis for the duration of the event.
Warning: It depends on the memory.

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Everything around you freezes, nearly as if time itself stopped, as if the world was frozen in time. And before you have a chance to understand what is happening, you can hear a voice right behind you.

"Kali Shashidhwaja."

Should you turn around, you may see a child who seems to be the only one aside from you unaffected by what is happening. And as she stares right at you, it makes no doubt these strange words are aimed at you. But before you can reply to her, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, Crystallis vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see.

And once again you feel different: all the powers from your Jobs are fading. Not only that, but you might find that your Crystal is gone and your clothes back to what they were before you woke up in Crystallis. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you... And yet, slowly the world reforms around you. The darkness fades away and a new world appears, yet at the same time this is not a world.

This is a memory. The question is, is it yours or that of someone else?

"The creatures?"

K'pandolu nodded, activating Featherfoot at Robin's words, feathers briefly pulsing up before they vanished. She sidestepped the Risen's axe, and it only caught her with a glancing blow- enough to be troublesome. She gritted her teeth, though, and struck back with Bootshine, fire in her eyes. "See what comes when you fight a student of the holyfist!"

Unarmed fighters were rare -- no, unheard of -- in Ylisse. Robin gawked for a moment, before she remembered better. She could marvel over that later; for now, she needed to focus on the Risen. Another one came in, this one closer to her. She stepped back from its axe swing, and countered with her sword. She skewered the thing through.

The Risen that K'pandolu struck flew backward before exploding into so much dust. Two Risen, this time, came for her; the creatures were capable of rudimentary swarm tactics, after all.

One rushed from the left, another from the right. The one from the right stabbed a spear for her side, while the other leaped for the Warrior of Light, and chopped its axe down with a mighty blow.

The more, the merrier. Although hopefully not too many; she'd learnt that lesson well enough…

She stepped out of the way of the first Risen's strike neatly, pivoting to strike the second with Haymaker as it came down. The blow should have been enough to force it back, in her mind, at least enough to begin dealing with the first again.

K'pandolu's Haymaker slammed one of the Risen back. It moved away from her -- and the first one was charging at it. Its blade swung down. Before the second could come at her, though, a blast of lightning holed it through.

Robin lowered her hand, then flashed a confident smile in the Monk's direction. That was one Risen she didn't have to worry about.

K'pandolu nodded back, impressed. She'd grown more used to seeing swords and thaumaturgy used in combination during her time in Crystallis, but outside of that world, it was still surprising. "Good work!" she called, moving as if to clap for a moment. Still, there were the rest to be concerned about, and she turned, ready to strike down the next before it could bear its weapon at her again.

K'pandolu dispatched the next Risen with ease. Robin was impressed -- especially when she cleaved down through another of the zombies with her sword. She turned, then, to find Validar striding forward. He glanced between the two women, then he settled on the Miq'ote. SHe raised a hand up.

"Die!" he snarled. Darkness erupted from his hand, hurtling off those long fingers and towards the Monk.
