Summary: The Heroes of Light relive some of their worst memories, with a twist. All characters participating in this will be physically missing from Crystallis for the duration of the event.
Warning: It depends on the memory.

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Everything around you freezes, nearly as if time itself stopped, as if the world was frozen in time. And before you have a chance to understand what is happening, you can hear a voice right behind you.

"Kali Shashidhwaja."

Should you turn around, you may see a child who seems to be the only one aside from you unaffected by what is happening. And as she stares right at you, it makes no doubt these strange words are aimed at you. But before you can reply to her, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, Crystallis vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see.

And once again you feel different: all the powers from your Jobs are fading. Not only that, but you might find that your Crystal is gone and your clothes back to what they were before you woke up in Crystallis. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you... And yet, slowly the world reforms around you. The darkness fades away and a new world appears, yet at the same time this is not a world.

This is a memory. The question is, is it yours or that of someone else?

At Lulu's words Rikku quickly prepares her Mix:winter storm. She misses Yuna's transformation in her focus. Blinking a moment in confusion at the change in attire. How..? Her attention quickly moves back to the danger at hand, it's not like there's time to find out. She tosses the mix just as Lulu unleashes a strong Blizzaga spell with Yuna. The suffocating inferno of Home gets a moments relief at the flurry of ice spells. Four of the five bombs fall to the ground, fading away, but one moved out of the range of the attacks.

It drifts lazily towards the trio, ready to explode. Underfoot, the heat stressed platform screeches as if it knows what's coming. The bomb alone won't kill them, however the countless story drop into the fiery underbelly of home should the ground giveaway is likely to. They will just have to cut their way past the soldiers ahead if they want to make it, "Uh oh - everyone run!"

Yuna didn’t wait after hearing her cousins shout. Her clothing glowed again and she was back to her gunner dressphere as she moved forward. She couldn’t have possibly run in her black mage dress and it always made her wonder how Lulu managed too.

She looked back at the gathering making sure that everyone got through okay. She was the one out of place here and as far as she saw it, she was the one that was expendable. This wasn’t her time or her fight and while she’d do what she could this wasn’t her story.

It was Rikku’s. Who the ex summoner had to protect.

Kimahri had taken several deep slices to the arms and torso clearing a path through the remaining soldiers and fiends with his lance, though he pays them no heed.

Behind the group the Bomb detonates, the explosion reverberates painfully. The platform everyone had been standing on plummets, taking down two floors below it before spirally into the abyss. It seems this is not the end though, the ground rocks in a domino effect from the damaging vibrations of the blast. Panel by panel the floor continues to fall in a beeline towards everyone at an alarming pace. Just as the group is about to stop - they begin running once more.

The Rhonso turns to the ex summoner, "Yuna come." He lifts the woman into his arms, she's no more difficult for the strong warrior to carry now than the little girl he brought from Bevelle to Besaid. With the same strength he uses to navigate along his native mountain, he leaps across the entire divide to the safety of cement stairs. The distance is so great, for a moment it's like flying.

After putting his charge down delicately he leaps back towards the group - it seems Lulu is next in line. The floor is practically falling away at the guardians' heels when he reaches them.

A surprised whelp comes from Yuna's lips as Kimahri swept her into his arms. It was comforting and even though Yuna was older she felt safe in her friends grip. Her expression was started as he moved her placing her off to the side. Of course she could have made it herself but she wasn't able to argue when it came to Kimarhi.

She looked back at the other guardians feeling the weight of their presence as they run towards her. She can help but then they would try and help her in return. She looked at Auron who was the slowest of the group and cast haste hoping to help quicken his step; then Wakka, then Tidus. She continued until she hit Rikku hoping that the spell was enough to speed their step.

"Hurry!"

Haste gives Auron the boost he needs, Wakka and Tidus and Tidus were in the clear. Kimahri makes the landing a short time later, bringing the black mage to safety.

It's Rikku who is the only one in danger now, having been a good distance back from the first group since she fought with Lulu and Yuna. Kimahri goes back for her - only when he reaches the Al Bhed, the ground falls beneath them both.

As both guardians begin to fall, the Ronso has no choice - taking Rikku by the arm he flings the girl. Hopefully the spry thief can land safely, while he leaps from falling chunks of the flooring - using all fours until he finds enough balance for another leap back.

"Kimahri!" Rikku screams her friend's name as they both begin to plummet, the screaming doesn't stop as she finds herself flailing through the air. She can see the endless drop below, the fire that seems to reach out for her as her arms flail.

His aim is true, but short. The Al Bhed starts to sink well before she reaches the other guardians, it looks she's destined to fall below - but she reaches out as far as she can stretch with her clawed hand. Just barley managing to dig into the corner edge with her weapon as she hangs off the edge, it scrapes in deep - but not deep enough to prevent her from instantly starting to fall back down.

Yuna closed her eyes and tried to focus on her two friends who were falling to their deaths. There was something she could do but it was unpredictable not that it would stop Yuna from trying to save her friends. In a blink she was gone, reappearing next to Rikku and wrapping her arms around her cousin's thin waist. A second later they both appeared on the safety of the platform the other guardians stood. It didn't take long to be transported but Rikku will feel dizzy and sick from the experience like going through a long dark tunnel with hints of purple that your eyes are trying to focus on but you're moving too fast to keep up.

Wherever Yuna vanished trailed purple and black smoke that called to the ex. summoner.

Yuna looked out and caught sight of Khimahri who was still trying to leap back. She disappeared only to reappear at his side. She grabbed hold of his hand and repeated the spell appearing next to the group. She collapsed against the wall hitting her back hard as heavy breaths fell from her lips.

"Everyone okay?" She didn't care if they saw how much she had changed she didn't want her friends getting hurt.
