Summary: The Heroes of Light relive some of their worst memories, with a twist. All characters participating in this will be physically missing from Crystallis for the duration of the event.
Warning: It depends on the memory.

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Everything around you freezes, nearly as if time itself stopped, as if the world was frozen in time. And before you have a chance to understand what is happening, you can hear a voice right behind you.

"Kali Shashidhwaja."

Should you turn around, you may see a child who seems to be the only one aside from you unaffected by what is happening. And as she stares right at you, it makes no doubt these strange words are aimed at you. But before you can reply to her, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, Crystallis vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see.

And once again you feel different: all the powers from your Jobs are fading. Not only that, but you might find that your Crystal is gone and your clothes back to what they were before you woke up in Crystallis. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you... And yet, slowly the world reforms around you. The darkness fades away and a new world appears, yet at the same time this is not a world.

This is a memory. The question is, is it yours or that of someone else?

[Chiaki nods as Allenby explains, although once she hears the word 'Berserker' she can more or less predict the sort of place the story is going to go. Still, though...]

What ended up happening?

She's probably not wrong.

"Well, we got far enough in the tournament that the guy running it pretty much lost it. Thanks to my pit crew and their selfishness to be on top, I ended up being one of his pawns, put into some super-crazy powered up Berserker system."

She sighs a bit. "I can only remember wanting to fight. But it was more than just a fight. I wanted to fight one specific guy. This guy I was head over heels for. I never got to though. I ended up having it out with his team mate. And she saved me."

That's the good ending, right? So nobody died?

[comeoutswinging]

"Actually...?"

Actually no, unless you count the bad guy as a death...

"I don't think so... Well... probably I think. The whole thing ended up in a war with everyone fighting off two guys. I imagine we lost a couple out there."

That's a relief. It sounds like a complicated tournament.

[comeoutswinging]

"More or less. I mean, in theory it's a pretty legit practice but... it was a matter of time before someone tried messing it up." she sighs and turns around, knees in the seat to look at Chiaki.

"Anyway, I got better, we got back at the guy and saved the world. I don't remember if he's comatose or dead but... I suppose the biggest loss was having to give up on him." She hangs her head on the back of the seat.

Wait, THAT wasn't the point of the story. "Not the bad guy, the guy who's... girlfriend saved me from being some crazy berserker in a lame tripod robot."

[She's sort of gotten that impression.]

"Domon? Yeah... I did but... He didn't like... feel the same. I was just a friend who helped him train."

Sigh and regret...
