Event || In Your Worst Memory

Characters: All Heroes of Light. Only those who signed-up can start a memory.
Where: Interdimensional Rift
When: May 27th - May 30th
Summary: The Heroes of Light relive some of their worst memories, with a twist. All characters participating in this will be physically missing from Crystallis for the duration of the event.
Warning: It depends on the memory.

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Everything around you freezes, nearly as if time itself stopped, as if the world was frozen in time. And before you have a chance to understand what is happening, you can hear a voice right behind you.

"Kali Shashidhwaja."

Should you turn around, you may see a child who seems to be the only one aside from you unaffected by what is happening. And as she stares right at you, it makes no doubt these strange words are aimed at you. But before you can reply to her, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, Crystallis vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see.

And once again you feel different: all the powers from your Jobs are fading. Not only that, but you might find that your Crystal is gone and your clothes back to what they were before you woke up in Crystallis. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you... And yet, slowly the world reforms around you. The darkness fades away and a new world appears, yet at the same time this is not a world.

This is a memory. The question is, is it yours or that of someone else?

Ramza raised an eyebrow. "Zelda is here too? Where is she?" He had seen the Goddess in his dream, and she had been wounded. He hoped she had fared better here in MarKus's world.

"So, you are aware these memories are false?" he asked MarKus as they moved. Ramza had not, in his memory, although now he realized the discrepancies in the two versions of the events. He wondered what this was meant to show them.

"She's gone already. This is the third time I'm having to go through them. It's actually more annoying than trying to traumatize me." he says, hurrying Ramza to less mechanized safety.

"They're partially real, things like this happened but, they're happening differently. Showing me people died when they never did. Things I know for a fact becoming... inverted. It's annoying as hell really." he protests.

"Three times..." Ramza repeated. O Father, he would not have wanted to reply his memory over thrice, not to learn all the secrets of this world or whatever else it was supposed to accomplish. Once had been quite enough.

MarKus was made of firmer stuff, it seemed, and he was less burdened by his visions than Ramza had been.

"How does it end? If we finish it, perhaps you will be freed." Evil oft came in threes, did not the saying go?

"I don't know... it seems to end when it's clear that I'm not going to lose. Like some kind of game, and it knows that it things are going to end normally." he says as this time he immediately brings Ramza under the deck, down into another hangar.

"Oh... okay well this time I guess I'm just hanging out." he huffs, looking at where HIS machine should be. But it's not there!

Ramza looked at the empty space where he guessed something large and mechanical was supposed to wait.

"If enacting the true version of this memory does not see you free, perhaps we should try something else." There was steel in Ramza's voice. He wanted to do something to help. He was quite willing to go out and meet their foes head-on. His hand rested on his sword hilt, though he did not draw the blade without MarKus's permission.
