Summary: The Heroes of Light relive some of their worst memories, with a twist. All characters participating in this will be physically missing from Crystallis for the duration of the event.
Warning: It depends on the memory.

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Everything around you freezes, nearly as if time itself stopped, as if the world was frozen in time. And before you have a chance to understand what is happening, you can hear a voice right behind you.

"Kali Shashidhwaja."

Should you turn around, you may see a child who seems to be the only one aside from you unaffected by what is happening. And as she stares right at you, it makes no doubt these strange words are aimed at you. But before you can reply to her, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you know it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, Crystallis vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see.

And once again you feel different: all the powers from your Jobs are fading. Not only that, but you might find that your Crystal is gone and your clothes back to what they were before you woke up in Crystallis. It is silent, cold and before long it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you... And yet, slowly the world reforms around you. The darkness fades away and a new world appears, yet at the same time this is not a world.

This is a memory. The question is, is it yours or that of someone else?

"But... How exactly would one do that when we don't know how to get out?" While Kobato does have her moments of being stupid, sometimes she does have things that make sense. "Unless you can turn yourself into a crystal or something."

"I mean, if we knew how to leave," Nanami said.

[kobatonotdobato]

"O-Oh! Sorry that I didn't get that." She laughed somewhat sheepishly, she would have never guessed that and just seemed the state the obvious. "But I don't think I could answer what you wanted even if we did know how."

"No one can," Nanami said. "No one has any real clue what's going on here. Except maybe that Kalki woman, and she's not exactly helpful."

[kobatonotdobato]

"Then why don't people try and go looking to find that answer. That seems like the obvious answer." At least to the young naive girl it was.

[nomorecowbell]

"People must have. Unless they're idiots."

They could be idiots. A lot of them had embraced this whole Hero thing.

[kobatonotdobato]

"I don't think they're idiots."

She had somewhat embraced it, but mostly because she felt like it could help people in the world and that was something she was meant to be doing back home.

"I don't get why people are so upset, but then again I don't understand a lot. We are here for a reason; to help people. I know what we saw here was sad for you and I cant say I can understand that, but... You can turn that into strength maybe?"

"I tried. I tried to prove I was stronger than my brother, or the sort of girls who flocked to him. I still wasn't able to beat Tenjou-san, even if he couldn't either."

[kobatonotdobato]

"But why did you need to prove such a thing? That...doesn't make a lot of sense to me."

[nomorecowbell]

"Haven't you want to be known for something?" Nanami said.

[kobatonotdobato]

She shook her head slightly, it was never anything she had thought about before. "No, I just want to help people and make them feel better."

[nomorecowbell]

"That's it?" Nanami said. "Why?" Were people really that nice? That couldn't be real.

[kobatonotdobato]

She nodded slightly, though she wasn't sure she could quite explain the why portion of it, but that didn't stop the young girl from trying.

"Because here, I want to. I like to see people smile and be happy. After what I've seen or even what I've done, I've slowly realized that well... we need the happiness to get through it."

[nomorecowbell]

"I guess so, but what if no one works hard to make sure you're happy?"

[kobatonotdobato]

"I don't think I quite understand what you mean?" She said tilting her head slightly in confusion.

[nomorecowbell]

"You make others happy; who makes you happy?" Nanami said.

[kobatonotdobato]

"I'm happy when people are happy, that is all there is to it." She was always happy when she managed to help someone, that for her always made her smile.

[nomorecowbell]

"That just..." Nanami said. "I always figured people just said that because it made them sound like wonderful people."

[kobatonotdobato]

"I don't care about that, really...It was my mission back home after all, but here I do it because that is what makes me the most happy" She pouts slightly. "I hoped to be able to help you, but I'm not sure how after what we saw."
