Let's talk about those past few days
Characters: Barkeep and all Heroes
Where: Observatory
When: June 1st
Summary: All Heroes are invited to visit Barkeep, have a drink, and talk about the past few days.
Warning: Alcohol, lots of angsting over the last event.
He was looking forward to opening The Space Saloon in a few days, but with the sudden disappearance of almost all the Heroes, his priorities shifted away from organizing the Grand Opening. He may not like living in Crystallis, but the Heroes were his neighbors. They all lived in the same area, which he might as well consider his new place, and they were part of it. Any trouble concerning them deserved his concern.
He was surprised the previous day, when he had gone outside and seen the housing district filled with people again. They looked as if they'd had an exhausting adventure--and he was glad he swore off them long ago--and weren't too willing to talk about it. There was a solution for both things.
The evening of the 31st, he had Annie post a note on each house's door:
To all Heroes of Light:
We invite you to the Observatory on the 1st of June for a chance to relax and chat. Alcoholic drinks and snacks will be served, while juice and milk will be available on tap. Proof of age may be requested.
Be advised that all weapons must be put away in the designated storage room.
The Meeting Room
Several folding tables were arranged throughout the room, each with eight chairs. The sturdiest one was moved to a corner of the room, where the Barkeep stood. He brought in his entire personal alcohol cabinet and several glasses and mugs he bought for his business, all which would be put to better use today.
On other tables, containers of juice and milk were available to those unable to legally consume alcohol. Small cakes and snack were there as well, as well as a pot of thick potato soup, though it was beginning to get cold, as the Barkeep had no method of heating it himself.
"Afternoon," he greeted each newcomer. "What've you been up to lately?"
[OOC: Feel free to make starters and reply to others. Barkeep is likely to join conversations held by the bar.]

"Well...I guess in my case. I guess what makes me happy is seeing other people happy. Or helping people and making them happy. That is enough for me."

Gregory had drank his and he was going to go get more but he could easily carry two glasses
no subject
"Though enjoying your milk?"
no subject
Greg smiled at Kobato and then got another glass of milk before returning to the table. Once he sat he looked up at her with a smile.
"That's what I want to do to." The girl he met in his dream had told him he could help so that's what he was going to do.
no subject
"You wanted to get milk?" She paused once more. "Oh! I assume that since you are a hero of light you understand what is going on here?"
no subject
"Hero of light? That's what Kite calls me." He also wasn't really sure what was going on.
no subject
She smiled but that soon faded when he said the answer to the question. "So you don't know... I only learnt about something myself, but I won't say any more."
no subject
He smiled up at her and then started to think taking in her serious expression. “It’s okay to tell me. I should know since I’m going to help all the heroes! The little girl said so too.” Greg never did get her name.
no subject
"Though, I can't say if it is true or not... I'm trying to keep positive, so I won't say."
no subject
Greg smiled at Kobato. He was curious but he wasn't the sort to dwell on things that he didn't know. He'd be spending a lot of time thinking if that was the case.
no subject
She just sat there, legs swinging slightly, she didn't know what to say or do right now except give a tiny little frown. "So the little girl was lonely... I wish I could have met her to help."
no subject
He didn't need to know more than that. "I'm sure you can meet her if you go to that place again."
no subject
no subject
“How about the helpful trio!”
His frog croaked as if knowing that he was included too. Greg looked down looking slightly disappointed with that name. “No, that’s not good at all.”
no subject
"But if neither of one those works then...Hmm... helper Heroes, maybe?"
no subject
He smiled at her and then gave her a thumbs up. "We got this." And that was that. It was decided. Gregory jumped down from his seat and smiled at Kobato. "I'm going to start now."
Except before he could get very far Kite fluttered over. "We need to go home first." He didn't hear the whole conversation but knowing Greg he didn't really have too. Kite nodded towards Kobato with a polite bow before trying to usher the boy out.
