Summary: Johnny headed to the beach and invited everyone along with him. Time to kick back! Everyone is free to make their own prompts in this log.

Maybe the weather wasn't the warmest it could be for a beach trip, but that hardly mattered for Johnny. He just wanted to get out of town for a few days and clear his head from the events last week, and what better way to do it than while relaxing in the sun and sand?

The Hypellos who live there have graciously offered up some guest homes for free, so there was plenty of room for people to stay. The beaches weren't too crowded yet, and the weather was clear and sunny. And once the sun sets, there were plenty of stores and restaurants to see, or maybe even time for a bonfire or party on the sand.

"You'll find someone." And if Rikku was still around, she'd give them lots of hell.

The thief's smile only broadens as the ex summoner's blush grows. With a laugh her hand goes to her hip. It's good to see her cousin's confidence has grown with time - but it's nice to know Rikku can still get her too. She stretches, done ribbing her poor cousin for now. It's just not a fair match, the Al Bhed did grow up with pirates and thieves. Her smile softens. "I see you're still easily flustered."

"Well when you say things like that!" Yuna slapped down at the water splashing her cousin with a grin.

She didn't think that Rikku wanted her to go over her love life, more so with how that story starts. Yuna hasn't had the best luck in love and she wasn't sure how much effort she should put into something. She wanted to start another adventure though maybe something less exciting than her last few.

There's a squeal and a laugh, and then a splash attack is on in full force. Little harm it does either of them, given they are both already soaked to the bone.

It frustrates the guardian to no end that she can't find out about Yuna's past, at least where she's part of the story. To have it there and not be able to know feels like a form of torment, of course the curious little thief wants to know everything. She so curious she looks in total stranger's pockets. She wonders - it should be safe to learn anything that does not involve Spira, at least - right?

There's still a few questions she wants to ask her older cousin, but those involve things that hurt her brain - today she just wanted to play. Looking at where the sun had moved to in the sky though, "Yunie - I should head off." Rikku could only steal way for this one day "You're gonna listen for me at the games, ok? I'll be the loudest remember!"

"I'll remember." She smiled brightly at her cousin taking hold of her Blitzball so that she could continue practicing. Her two toned gaze shifted from Rikku to the ocean with a warm smile.

"Thank you. Rikku."

There was so much that Yuna wanted to thank her cousin for, for being there for her now and back in Spira, for making her join the Gullwings and for introducing a new life when she had felt so lost. It was hard to start over when destiny wasn't what you thought and Yuna couldn't have done that without Rikku by her side.
