You think so? [Sika flutters a little closer, peering for anything else.] To spy on us?

[She hands the hollow tube to Sika.]

This might've been their hideout, but I don't know why they'd throw a robot up here. [She taps on the beam.] Wouldn't this break if anything heavy sat here, kupo?

You do get a better view from up high, kupo… [and she puts it to her own eye, to see what she can see.]

[Below, slowly making a path up, K'pandolu pauses for a moment with a hmm.] It would depend on how heavy the robot was. If it were made of more lightweight materials, perhaps it could sit there with no concern for falling…

…it's not there now, though, is it?

[There's a lot of grease inside, but most of it is still wet.]

Nope. But this proves that they were here. [She walks over to a hole in the wooden wall.] If we leave fast enough, we might catch up to them!

[whoop okay she's gonna take it away from her eye before any of it drips down (it might! you don't know it wouldn't!).]

And- then we can stop them! Right?

[K'pandolu nods.] Right. Let's see if we can work out which way they went.

[The fur around Sika's eye has a bit of grease on it. Annie's, too.Hunting down robots was more fun than delivering letters. Bo-ring!]

Can you track them? [She calls down from the rafters.] Are there footprints down there?

[ewwww gross she tries to wipe that away and… doesn't get very far. ew grease in her fur ew]

Who do you think you're talking to? [this might be a little of a sore spot after the task U'odh Nuhn set her.] I didn't see any the way we came in- so they must have had another access point…

[She flutters down, abandoning Sika. Annie has grease on her face, too, but she doesn't care. She's a tough adventurer (but the moment she find a safe building, she's taking a long, long bath.]

Maybe they flew up? [She checks: no holes in the ceiling.] Or they floew off riding those robots. ...That's smart of them.

[rude. Sika abandons her quest after another couple of moments, fluttering back to K'pandolu with the tube in town.]

Shouldn't someone have noticed any flying robots, kupo?

[K'pandolu frowns, folding her arms.] Perhaps if something else was going on, it might have passed unnoticed- or if they managed to disguise themselves somehow.

…but I don't think we should give up on finding them by ground so easily. Let's scour the area around this building.

[Annie crosses her arms and huffs in a direction away from the other two. She doesn't like having people poke holes in her theories, even if they were reasonable observations.]

Fine. [The monotone answer is loud with a hint of accusation, but Annie flies to the exit instead of waiting for a response.] Let's go.

[Sika droops for a moment, but K'pandolu simply shrugs. She takes the tube from Sika, stowing it away for future investigation, and moves to exit the building.]

All right. Let's find them as quickly as we can.
