He tried to pull his little dagger out, but was having a rather difficult time in trying to do it, but he didn't want to let it go either since it was a gift from the Hero he was taking care of, one of the few times she did something herself.

"Look out for what?!" It seemed to little to late for him to react as he soon found himself in the middle of something exploding.

Why wasn't he moving? Why wasn't he jumping? Why was he still tugging on his knife?

"Artemis!" She waffled for a second more, but she couldn't just leave him!

"Time to go!" Mogdelina jumped over to give him a hand, giving the knife a strong yank of her own. One last ditch effort before she'd have to just grab Artemis and abandon it.

It was the only thing his hero gave him and he had to leave it behind. He couldn't help but be a little bit sadden over it, but it was that or him dying and he knew right now that wasn't his.

"Thanks." He said honestly. he was grateful for there help. "I owe you."

Mogdelina was still catching her breath and she wiped her eyes, stinging from the smoke.

She wanted to tell Artemis how stupid that was... but she couldn't.

"We can go back for it, once the flames die down," she conceded, hoping the knife was still there. "It must have been important."

"It's the only thing the hero I work for gave me that wasn't something stupid. Like this costume for example. So I guess I like it because it isn't dumb." He still however thought that the girl needed to calm down sometimes and to not do things without asking, which he was sure she has done a good number of times.

"But I'm sure she would give me another if she thinks about it. or I can find one myself."

"I don't think it's stupid." Mogdelina caught herself and scratched her cheek, embarrassed. "I mean... I like your cape."

Before she could say anything else embarrassing, she cleared her throat. "Let's get inside -- maybe we can find something else you can use as a weapon."

"...Thanks. I honestly didn't think anyone would like it." Even if it wasn't his choice of clothes still. It was strange there was someone who actually didn't mind it.

With a slightly nod he was already making his way inside, it would be best after all for him to find another weapon just in case.
