[Any compliments could wait until they were done, Tear still striking key soldiers and recovering what knives she could as they continued. Now was when Selen might have to come into play...

Motioning to the other woman again, she gestures with a quick jerk of the head toward the small number of soldiers now waiting at the gate. Passable, but it would take a coordinated effort.

So she gestures to her lips, hoping she could communicate her message enough: she would sing for her, if she charged forward.]

[ That was how it goes anyway. Selen knew better than to act out of her mission right now. Selen watched her back as she steered her way through the soldiers and collecting her knives. Selen was indeed she came across Tear. The woman was very talented in many ways.

Selen looked over towards Tear. There were many soldiers at the gate and Selen didn't like that. Her expression became a bit grim, though a smirk still lined her face. The woman turned to see what Tear was trying to communicate to her. The way they made eye contact was pretty obvious. It was her time to get through them.

The former general gave a brief nod and waited for the signal to launch herself at the soldiers. ]

[Knowing that they were now in agreement, Tear releases a slow exhale. She doesn't close her eyes as she normally would, because right now it was crucial that she be aware of every one of her surroundings at every moment.

Raising the sword she was still getting used to, she points it toward the soldiers. This was her signal to begin, and if it wasn't emphasis enough then she would follow it with the first notes of Battle Scene.]

[ As soon as the signal was given, Selen flew from her spot towards the first aimed soldier following the the notes. Her sword cleaved the soldier right on point and there was nothing more than a soft thud at the body landing, and she swung her sword around a second time to get any nearby soldiers, aiming to grab all their vital points. With Tear's assistance, she was certain that she'd get everything point on.

Selen was too confident sometimes, but she had the skills to back it up mostly. ]

[Were she not focused on keeping the song going, Tear would have likely complimented Selen for her skill. As it was, she could only admire it silently as she followed after her, inspecting the fallen soldiers.

Surely out of some of these they should have enough material for viable uniforms, and sneak in dressed in them.]

[ They could have that conversation once the both of them are done with their initial mission. Selen cleaved enough of them here for the time being to get them the uniforms they needed. She sheathed her sword and gestured for Tear to come over to her now that the coast was clear. ]

[Now that they were done with that task, Tear quickly comes up to Selen's side and points to some of the soldiers with less damage to their uniforms.]

You did well, quite a number of these would work as long as none are too big.

[wings_of_steel]

[ Selen takes the uniform that was pointed out to her. It was less damaged indeed. ]

You did quite well yourself, backing me up in the process. I think there should be another one that you could utilize over there.

[ Selen tried to be clean with the slashing so they could use the uniforms. ]

[Sure enough, Tear finds a suitable uniform where Selen had pointed.]

At least we know in the future we can work together. Though I wonder if that would be a good thing.

[Since part of her hoped there wouldn't have to be a next time.]

[ Selen quickly pulled herself out of what armour she had and into the uniform with the basic clothing underneath her armour. ]

Of course. I would enjoy working with you Tear. I suppose it depends on how you look at it. I feel like it would be pretty fun.

[ She replied flashing the other a smile of honesty as she finished rolling the thing up her form. ]

Convincing enough?

I can't say I've ever had to use such methods to infiltrate a facility before. [So on Selen that uniform to fit perfectly, but on Tear? It was just a little big, and she tries to adjust it the best she can.]

Yes. Just carry yourself as you always do and I don't think anyone should suspect anything, and we can talk our way out of the situation if we have to.

[However fun it might be to have the entire base coming down on them, it wasn't exactly ideal.]

It works wonders as long as we don't stand out. They'll never know what will hit them. If they do, well we'll make sure to change the course of battle quickly!

[ She seemed extremely confident like undercover work was her thing. Then again, she jumped from country to country doing plenty of work since she retired as a general and all. ]

Sounds like a plan. Let's get rolling. We need to cut their supplies before we cut them. I suppose we can kill them if needed.

[ She replied as if it was something they had to do and that they had no other choice but to do it. ]

[And Tear's reply is to start marching forward into more open area, ready to do as Selen suggests as she passes several enemy soldiers without even giving them a glance. It was easy enough to do, and on a base like this it was safe to assume not everyone knew each other well.

Not to say she wasn't nervous. If anything were to happen, she wanted to make sure that Selen at least would be able to make it out safely, so she's still looking for loopholes in the base's defense should such a situation arise as she marched into the next area.]

[ Selen followed after her as natural as she could be when they were passing by the enemy soldiers. It seemed like it was a good bet on their part. She could see the soldiers not paying too much heed to them.

The former general had her back if anything and Selen wasn't the type to leave others behind. She would find a way for the both of them to make it out alive if anything. Selen was as well when they were moving together. At some point, she would branch off from Tear briefly to investigate somewhere else. ]
