As the drones began to surround them, Bonnie started to panic just a little. She could take one on her own maybe but things were getting a little dangerous. She was glad she had the larger Hero with her.

She caught his pause, his gaze focus on the broken drone, and she got an idea herself. It was super risky but as he began to swing his spear she grabbed onto it and was flung through the air as well. Her lighter weight gave her a slower and higher arc than the busted drone did, giving her time to correct herself in the air and then drop down once more on the last remaining drone.

"Kupoooooooo~" She crashed on top of it, making it dip and bob. Raising her knife she stabbed down into it again and again until sparks and smoke began to bleed out. Leaping back to the pavement as it crashed she panted for a moment, her little heart thumping in her little chest.

When Bonnie's victim also went down, Ven hobbled to catch up with her. His grin was a tired one, but it was glad and encouraging nonetheless. "Good teamwork!"

The area was clear for the moment, but the adjacent streets might have still been harboring more enemies. Moving carefully to the corner, Ven peered around it as he spoke to the two moogles.

"So -- they're just machines, right? If we destroy all of 'em and the moogles stay inside the office, they should be safe." Unless the drones actually knew what the Mognet office was and could make the correlation well enough to estimate that there were moogles inside. That seemed like a stretch, though.

"Probably, kupo. If you two can kill the ones around here, it should be okay for now. I can try to get a warning to the moogles inside and tell them to sit tight."

Ven nodded, then glanced at Bonnie. "We'll have to move fast."
