[Terra nods slowly keeping her gaze on the falling rain. There is so much that she wants to say and yet so same words slip away from her like the falling rain.]

We have something to protect. [It makes us strong.]

[She let's out a soft sigh.] I apologize... I should be more optimistic.

It's fine. People all think different things in this type of situation. I'm only staying optimistic because of someone I know.

[He felt like he would want him to be strong and to not falter.]

[Terra turns towards him curiously.]

Yeah, although they were here before I was. It's complicated to explain when I really think about it.

[He paused to think about it a little more, trying to think if he could actually explain it and maybe not confuse people.]

[Terra thought that she might understand but she doesn’t feel the need to say so. She had seen herself here in the city and she can only imagine what others have seen.]

I’m sure they are proud of you.

[That was enough to give him a small smile, he kind of hoped if and when he could get back and tell him of all his adventures and how much he had changed that he would be proud. He just believed that to be the case anyway.]

I hope so. But that will be in the future. Right now we just need to get ready for something no one wished would happen and defend this place we considered home.

Yes.

[Terra agrees but his smile is enough to make her smile in return. It’s a small gesture, a slight twitch at the corner of her lips but it lightens the weight pressing on her heart. It’s strange but she’s thankful.]

It really has become home.

[It’s unclear if Terra is talking to the rain or her companion but her tone sounds light and happy as if this is the only home she’s know.]

I'm glad it has. I hope that it means you'll fight for what you call home.

[He knew for now he will, until the day he can actually go home. But he knew that might not be for a while.]

I guess I should go and check out a few places.

[She's already resolved to fighting. She looks over at Yugi and gives him a small encouraging smile.]
