[Kopula jumps as the lighting hits a moogle killer near him. He doesn't have much time to think before another one already has him in it's sight. He flutters a little closer to Nanami jumping back and swiping down with his blade again.

The killer wiggled but doesn't fall from the sky. Instead it's determined to attack the little moogle clad in green.]

Ah!

[He swipes again coming down to Nanami's side.]

Thank you, kupo.

[Nanami pulled out a knife and threw it at the Moogle Killer.]

Pay attention to me! No, not you, the robot.

[she's not really set up for heavy combat, but she has been here for a while, so all that experience probably helped.]

What is with these things?

They are moogle Killers Kupo.

[They are also also impossible to hit without striking them when they are mid-attack. Kopula barely dodges from the killers attack and then swipes down with his sword hoping that this particular one will be defeated by the blow.]

They only target moogles.

That... what did Moogles ever do to the Empire?

[Nanami could be petty and vindictive, but even she couldn't find Moogles threatening.]

Well, if you can keep its focus, I'm going to take it apart by hand if I have to.

We didn’t choose sides…

Kopula shakes his head slowly. He’s young in moogle years but he remembers what his father had told him. People wage wars while moogles were a neutral party. The Empire isn’t okay with that and they sought to use the moogles strengths. They were a race born with special abilities and as such it makes them valuable.

Kopula gives a quick nod and swings his blade at the moogle killer.]

It will attack me, Kupo. [Which means that Nanami is free to do what she wishes.]

Don't get hurt. I'm not a healer.

[She could be fast, though, and had a number of other tricks to fight.

[Kopula nods but he can't really promise that. In order to attack the moogle killers he has to make himself a target. It is the only way to slow them down.

With the killer pressing down on him he attack hoping that the young hero of light could attack as well.]

[Nanami threw another knife]

Just die already!

[she was going to run out of knives at this rate, and have to stick to stabbing things]

[Even if she was running out of knifes Kopula is grateful for the save. He places a hand over his little heart and watches as the killer wobbles and falls from the air.]

There are potions inside, kupo. Some of the moogles stored some there just in case. Go grab some and administer them kupo.

[Kopula isn’t worried about himself but there are moogles trying to fight and a few are beginning to fall.]

Will you be all right out here without backup? What if more of those robots come?

[She's not sure sending the one person the robots won't attack for help is a good idea]

[Kopula looks out over the battle field and smiles.]

I’m not alone, kupo. I’ll be fine.

Promise.

[He told Zelda he’d be back safe and he’s going to keep that promise. There are others around them fighting, all hoping to save those that they care about.]

Good. Don't... don't make me have to tell Zelda what happened.

[and she's off as quick as she can run to retrieve the supplies]
